  1. Sorry may be a bit late. Im in Stockton and just had mine serviced and MOT at Evans Halshaw Nissan on Cargo fleet at Middlesbrough. Great service dropped car off and they brought me back home and picked me up 3.5hrs later - work complete and car all washed and interior hoovered. No added extras FP1 was £137 I'll got all thier service price while I was there so I'll put the prices up later when I'm home from work
  2. Was it a blonde lady - seen it about Norton a few times
  3. Just to keep everybody up to speed, the problem was traced to a low level of the PAS fluid wasnt very low or empty just about 5 ml below the cold min level but I guess thats all it takes - topped up with dexton III PSF and all symptoms disappeared after a day or two
  4. or Mike she could just get a Tomtom with bluetooth included and you get sat nav and bluetooth for the price of (or more likely much cheaper) the nissan bluetooth bits and bobs - it will fit in you cubbyhole perfectly so you can hide it out of the way from the robbing thieving gypsies when you park up, but I'm getting off track Monkeygirl the previous post was implying that you get a new stereo (aka head unit) but as I pointed out you dont need to bother, just get the radio band expander fitted and for £30 your fantastic Bose unit will be up and running, the Bose stereo set up is not as great as you may think but its ok for most non high fidelity audiophiles. If I was you Id get the FM transmitter first, one that operates with at least 1 frequency below the Jap 90mHz max limit and see if it will work - it should do and its only £6 to £10 - this wont of course sort your radio out for that you need the Radio band expander
  5. That would be one in USA with the big orange bridge
  6. I suppose only the 1 - ME Sorry H5 you left yourself wide open there I can only speak for myself as Ive got one fitted and my Bose picks up all FM stations, the only querk is that the radio stations appear at a lower frequency on the display eg Radio 1 is 80.6 on my Jap Bose instead of 98.6 (because of the 18Mhz shifter) but once they are programed in who cares what the display reads
  7. Not strictly true H5, it can be made to work easily you dont have to fork out for a new head unit , new iso block, 1 din enclosure, fitting and new tray to full the gap the Jap bose radio operates with a FM frquency of 76–90 MHz unlike the UK one that operates @ 88 - 108 MHz - so you can only pick up radio 2 but you can get a FM freqency shifter of 14 or 18MHz for £5 off ebay, which will give you a bandwidth of 90 - 104 or 94 - 108MHz and you will be able to pick up most if not all radio stations. Its a simple job to fit, hardest part is getting the radio out then it just plugs into the arial socket and has 1 wire to attach to any live supply. or get one fitted for about £20 - 30 and save yourself the hassle. Then you can get any FM transmitter for your Ipod. but if you not bothered about the radio, I found this one that operates @ 88 - 108MHz so should be ideal and it just plugs into your Ipod, you dont even need a separate power supply as it is powered by your ipod http://www.oknewshop.com/products/full- ... -6045.html comes in black or white and only £6 to be honest any FM transmitter that operates between 76 and 90Mhz should work, most Ive seen operate somewhere around 88Mhz
  8. Saw 2 in San francisco - 1 coupe the other a roadster, both in the best colour - GM of course
  9. Hi and welcome, you cant beat the Zed for putting a smile on your face or getting admiring looks from other drivers, yes the tax is expensive £400 plus (mines a 2005 import and they still did me for top road tax rate based on my emissions even though its registered as a plg DVLA winkers - bit of a sore point) if its an english car you should get cheaper road tax as long as its registered before March 2006 - I think You'll do about 18-20 mpg about town and about 30mpg on the m/way. Insurance varies depending on age but try bell for a quote Servicing isnt that expensive considering the car that it - every year or 9K miles p1= £200ish P2= £250ish p3= £300ish The paint is waffer thin , the interior is pritty plastic fantastic and it goes through tyres like nobodys business but drive it and you'll forget all about that.
  10. hope you got it mate, it went for a paltry £46 delivered

  20. hi all, the exterior door handle is getting tarnished in places, looks like the lacquer has come/coming off - what can i do to get it like new. would I be able to shine it back up with a metal polish or would that be to harsh -then protect it with a coat of wax. Ideally i would like to remove it , polish it up and lacquer it so it doesn't happen again but that sounds like it would be a mare of a job to do
  21. nice write up dont suppose anybody knows a good colour match for the GT4 wheels as they are more of a chrome silver
