Well got my spoiler today and good news - no customs charges It was labeled up as a gift and they never put a value on it ! - so I dont think it was sent insured even though I have paid extra for the insurance - they look as if they have just taken the insurance money but they better not have as its got a chip out of it, so well see what happens. I suppose it could be filled but thats why I took the insurance out.

Like the title says Nismo style - if you want real Nismo ones they will cost you a lot more than £70

Because I don't need them, I've bought a full body kit and they are surplus to requirements. Why do you ask, are you interested in them?

What utter crap, if I made a copy of a DVD/ CD how am I personally funding terrorism? Well that easy to answer - I'm not. unless the place where I bought my disks or my PC from have a terrorist wing - I know Dell have a lot to answer for but please. the only thing I might be doing taking profits from is the BBC and as we all are forced to pay the BBC licence fee, we have already paid for the funding of all things made by the BBC so its ours to take anyway.

Yes I know that we dont get charged in the EU because we are in it but there seems like there is no hard and fast rules - also I 've taken out insurance in case it gets damaged and the seller said that he must put the full buying price on the customs forms or if it gets damaged the shipping company will only reimburse up to whatever was declared - bit of a bummer as im getting stung for the insurance and the customs charges .wherer as if I just got it sent I wouldn't have this bother but I may have had a broken spoiler. I've had stuff from HK before and its escaped fees but the sellers usually label it up as a gift or low price item, Not something you could do on an item that size.

Sorry Stuey... got them off fleabay - in fact got a little carried away bought the side skirts then a full kit came up so I bought that as well So I have a spare pair of Nismo style side skirts for sale if anybody is interested. £70 plus postage

I have just ordered a spoiler from Hong Kong - Its "re-engineered" as they say but my wallets a bit too light for the real one. Just wondering what customs Fines, sorry charges will I be stung with when it comes over.

Why dont you get a rectanglular bracket made up - screw 1 side to the inset and the other to the plate, jobs a good un.

My car is an 05 Jap import so I dont have to worry about that but thats a lot better than I was expecting. Just had a full service on the wifes 307 HDI and that cost me £165 or is P3 equiv to a full service.

Just bought some Nismo side skirts just waiting for them to be delivered and I haven't even got my car yet What Am I doing !!! How easy is it to remove the stock side skirts - are they 3m taped on, Glued (god I hope not) Screwed, could a capable amateur like my good self take these off and fit these new Nismo ones ready for painting or should I get em painted off car? All help appreciated PS any way round customs charges ie gift, warranty part, etc?
