Hi I have since sold my 350z however I did go on this run a few months ago. I am by no means having a dig, and realise its difficult trying to organise such events on a grand scale - but a few of us did find that we were stopping an awful lot and didnt actually do much driving!.... i.e. lunch we were there about 2 - 2.5 hours having been stopped at a service station for 45 mins prior to this and then about a 30-45 minute drive to the restaurant. The location was nice however. We then split off on convoy's and stopped again just 30 minutes later for cake etc. for a long time - and by then it was quite late in the afternoon. Personally if I were to do it again I would prefer more driving and less stopping - and I know a couple of other drivers felt the same. As I said - im by no means having a dig, just a bit of feedback **waits to get mobbed!!** **locks front door** **boards up windows**

Hi I have just sold my 350z privately and have the middle and Front/Engine part of a 350z exhaust. My backbox needed replacing and I ended up buying an exhaust from a 2006 350z that had covered 9k miles. Its in great condition and just sat in my garage - so needs to go! Hi - I just sold mine for £12,150 yesterday - that was a 2003/53 reg, 54k miles, with rays, uk car and gt pack, silver and black leather My car was in lovely order, only had 2 keepers and a fsh - it was due a basic service in 1-2k miles. I think for that money it was a real bargain - but luckily I got a good deal on what im buying, so let it go. I was surprised by the lack of interest in my car - even priced on autotrader at £12000 from friday! (kicked off at £13300 2 weeks ago) - only 2 calls this weekend and only one of them vaguely interested...there were only 3 cars cheaper that were UK vehicles. Considering I paid £13800 for it from a dealer 6 months ago (which was a very good price anyway!) and spent a lot on maintenance work needed recently as well. I did however cover 10k miles in it. My consilation to you is if your looking to swap it for something similar (i.e. I bought an E46 BMW M3) most cars have taken a hammering for what I can only put down to the reasons someone has said above - i.e. credit crunch and less loan options open to people. Also, saying that, I dont think the Import market helps selling a UK 350Z because most buyers dont seem aware of the differences and are more taken in by the age/mileage. The guy who bought mine thought it was an Import when he came to view! Best of luck with the sale!

Hi I have just taken my car into the local exhaust centre to be told i need a new back box. Im certain this has been posted before but i have searched and cant really find what im looking for. I am after a louder tone than the standard exhaust (this might sound chavy but i quite like the noise it has broken!...but maybe a bit quieter lol). Any advice would be appreciated on what is a good option that doesnt break the bank and is available relatively quickly. Cheers! Chris

Yea I know what you mean. It is definitely an enthusiasts machine Saying that though, I have only seen 3 350z's on the road within 2 weeks of ownership...which surprised me!

lol yea the 350z has already 'had its moments' on the country roads Obviously its not as forgiving as my previous Alpina BMW and much more like my boxster without traction control. Its great fun to drive mind as its more of a challenge. And yes, the Vee is definitely a bit of a handful!

hehe I am sure its capable of high speed - but my guess is the 350z would reach them quicker and feel more comfortable at them - at least thats from what my mate has said! They do really compliment eachother well I think Watch out for a few more pictures from me in the not so distant future hopefully with better weather. A trip to wales is on the cards and also my mate with an s2000 fancies getting a few snaps

lol yea you could be right there! my friend with the V6 is a complete fanatic when it comes to cleaning cars properly and has all the gear....where as i tend to use whatever is available! - i.e. he was using a towel which cost him £20 i think...and im there with my halfords value cleaning pack - everything basic for £7 lol anyway....its filthy again so no doubt will be getting another 'spruce up' soon

Thanks for the response The V6 im sure can give it a run for its money but we havent raced them - it was more some spirited driving through the country roads of oxfordshire enjoying the noise Judging by the performance figures, i doubt theres much in it mind.... Clio: 230bhp 0-60mph approx 5.9 seconds i think Obviously, 350z has 280bhp but is heavier so I would expect it to have similar performance. I would expect that the 350z will have a bit more go top end as my mate said that above 90mph it seems to wallow around a bit and feel unstable. In my mind, the V6 was built to be completely barmy instead of an out and out racer...however it still has the grunt! The location was Abingdon Marina, Oxfordshire
