Just checked, dry as a bone in the boot, are the vents in the boot or under the false floor as i couldn't remove the corner polystyrene unit but got my hand under and no damp at all, hopefully it will stay that way there is large vent tucked up on the left side and a smaller one on the right, surely the seal couldn't be from there ? *edit* http://www.courtesyp...components-scat guess its part number 14 - http://www.courtesyp...e&position=left or is that for outside the car behind the rear bumper

Had a quick look this morning, just removed the sub and surround, no water or even felt damp, will have a good look this weekend Would it be a Nissan warranty job, mines just over a year old ?

will check it some at point today if the weather holds, any idea if the vents are easily removed so i can replace the foam with something else ? Thanks for the reply

The other morning i noticed a small piece of what looks like a foam seal dangling from the underneath the rear bumper near the left exhaust tip, without thinking i snapped it off , had a look under the bumper, both sides but cant see where it might have come from, have attached some pictures it was in one long length, dried it out with a cloth and it broke, no idea how long it had been hanging down tho. it's about 1cm across and 17 cm long, anyone know what it's for and is it important ??

Make your own thought i had some pictures of the build, sadly i couldn't find them. Anyways, the box n sub as been sold, will leave this open for a day or so.

A few years ago i made my own Sub box for the 350Z, been sat on the wardrobe in the spare room for 15 months (after i got the 370z) bout time it went to a new home. made out of 12mm MDF with a Mutant 10" Sub, the black acoustic carpet is a little patch work in places, reused some from my last box, can't be seen when the box is in place tho. Have stapled it as well as the glue had become dry and started to curl up , the connector is also reused hence the over sprayed glue, really bigging it up aren't i Was installed with the standard boot carpet, fits under the boot strut brace and never moved, slightly modified the corners on the sub side to gain access to the cargo net hooks. Only want £20 including delivery (weights about 11kg) Cheers Neo
