  1. this is covered on 350z.com, not something i would attempt due to the cost if you over cook them
  2. difficult to say if it was the thrust bearing, its very possible as they are an issue on the zed, if it does it again dip the clutch - if the noise goes it likely to be the bearing
  3. sad to see stuey but i know exactly where you are coming from unfortunately no one is buying at the moment
  4. Sign of the times. 12 months ago, the zed was the performance bargain for the price. Petrol prices plus tax increase has pushed the cost of ownership outside of some....... +1 painfully true good luck with the sale andy
  5. to the forum chris i can't help with sourcing parts though you could try ebay and it might help if you say where you are
  6. just got back from my bro in laws villa in polaris world el valle near murcia back to work on friday no no no i had a punto diesel kite surfing looks very
  7. +1 i'm off to murcia on sunday but the same as martin - without the car i was going to la rochelle in the car but had a last minute change of plan welcome back
  8. the noise is the thrust bearing, a common trait on the zed, being notchy is unusual as the clutch is hydraulic and uses slave cylinder to operate

  11. to do the footwell lighting - If you take the A-pillar cover off the passenger side, you will see a socket with 3 wires on it connect the live to the red and black and the neg to the switched earth on the pink the lights will work exactly as the interior lights do, on when unlocked via the remote and fade when locked
  12. NICE PICS i like the pic with the zed out of focus and the R1
  13. i think its way past your bed time and you're getting all excitable, calm down, clean you're teeth and get tucked in

  16. did a similar run last night and sat at approx 80 - 85 mph and the average was 29.5 mpg (it seems better since i fitted the spaghetti ?? ) this was after a reset at that speed i will guess you will average 27.6 mpg
  17. Could well be dave as i've had to top up the fluid Might be worth changing over to Red stuff pads, my right front wheel as been a bit squeky since very low mileage, did it a bit on Sunday, i doubt very much that it will be a wheel bearing. And copper grease em i've got a full set of redstuff to fit myself
