  1. Cheers Webber Lets hope it does the trick
  2. I must admit Im a fan of the Abarth's - they look cool and will be pretty nippy too! IMO you'd prob get a quicker sale if you kept it complete but then all of your mods are pretty desireable so you should be a good price for them all. Good luck matey!
  3. Just wondered peoples opionion on the above... In the space of a week in and around Newcastle Ive seen 2 Z's with the nissan burger on the back repalced with a GT-R badge No offence if its someone off here but I just dont get it I understand Nismo, Tommy K, Greddy, TwinturboZ etc etc, but GT-R??? Sorry havent got any pics but its just not even associated with that part of Nissan.....
  4. Good results ho! What sort of price would you expect to do a z? I think mine could do with a proper detail to rid me of the swirls!
  5. Without sounding cheeky is anyone on here a member on the SXOC to post a link to here...... They seem to want £20 to join
  6. Ha ha thats class - my very own personalised parking space!! Well these wheels came up at a price that I couldnt refuse so took the chance to get them - hopefully the standards will sell to offset the cost a little bit too. Im going to leave it up for sale - albeit with a a slightly tweaked price just to see what happens... We are looking to start a family soon so the Z will 100% have to go next year at some point - but I thought that Id continue to enjoy it for now - if someone comes along and offers the right money then fair enough. I know that seems a stange type of logic but it makes sense to me anyways I know what you mean Sarnie, they do look like a big step up from the standards in the flesh, but the pictures on the other hand seem to have shrunk them. I think that just comes with this type of design with none of the spokes actually reaching the edge of the wheel. I am a fan of the dish at the back though Thanks for all the comments so far guys!
  7. Now that I have added the new wheels the 18's that the car came with are now for sale as I just dont have anywhere to store them! Would be a good upgrade for the 17" JDM Wheels or a spare set for track / drift / winter work. They are in decent nick with a few kerb marks here and there but nothing too major for being 5 year old. Tyres are standard Bridgestones on front with about 4 / 5mm left. Rears are Pirelli P-Zero Rosso again with about 4 / 5mm on them as well. Pictures follow are from a while ago - I'll take new ones this weekend and re-post them. Collection from Newcastle area is preferred but could possibly meet if the distance isnt too great for a bit of fuel money. Couriers can be arranged by the buyer but will be at your cost. Bro-T had a set up a while ago for offers around £300, so I'll kick off with that and see. Any questions drop me a PM or email rosslad@aol.com I'll also be puttin them on Pistonheads and maybe the SXOC as I believe that they quite like them as well. Cheers, Ross
  8. Well after my post at the weekend I finally got around to getting the new rims on the car! Im very pleased with the result, will look into lowering it in a few months but otherwise very happy! I know i was a bit cheeky using the disabled bays but there was no-one around and I got better backgrounds that way Ross.
  9. Cheers Beavis Yep those TSW coffee tables are all the rage ha ha! Should get them test fitted today or tomorrow am - if that goes well I'll post up the fully fited pics tomorrow night
  10. Well after the good news at work last week look what turned up this morning
  11. Yeah the speed humps are a tad on the large side but the Z handles them ok! We lived in the Baltic Quay apartments behind the art gallery next to the millenium bridge (so technically Gateshead quayside)
  12. Think it was you mate - not many 350GT's in red, with time attack stylee wheels in this neck of the woods. I've just moved up to Earsdon from the Newcastle Quayside so was taking the more 'interesting' route up to the new place... Car was looking
  13. They look stunning and IMO would look class on a Z with a good slam If only I was keeping the car
  14. Have got an in-family deal lined up with my dad for his 06 Audi A4 Avant. I know that sounds boring but it's the 2.0t with 230bhp, quattro, Bose and he had some lovley 19's on it too. Dolphin grey with all black trim. Sensible car but with a bit of poke. Before the Z I was a VAG man so have plenty contacts for a few extra tweaks Dad has his eye on a new toy and doesn't want to get a crap trade in so would rather sell to me with a bit left on an IOU Would love to get a Z again in future either a 350 or 370....
  15. PRICE UPDATE - I'll take £120 posted if someone wants them - if not I'll put them up on ebay at the end of the week
  16. Sorry gymbob already have the next car lined up for when this one sells, but thanks for the offer
  17. Looking good matey The Zed still looks amazing even when parked next to a Godzilla
  18. The MX5 is a tempting thought, but I think that I'll have to say thanks but no thanks I know everyone says it but I'll really miss the car - cant believe a kitchen has won over the Z I'll put some pics directly into the post when I get home later on so people dont need to go via the link.
  19. As we have decided to sell the Z I wont have any use for the spacers I bought from another member last month. They have never actually been fitted to a car - only offered up to the hubs. The kit comes with all the spacers and bolts required for an install. This kit is the one that requires the studs to be replaced before installing the spacers, and are a more permanent solution - ideal if you arent thinking about changing your OEM wheels. The installation seems quite straightforward, easily done as DIY or for a few £ at a garage. I paid £150 (Think they £200ish brand new) for the set so offers in that region would be good - collection preferred (Im from Newcastle upon Tyne) or can post for £10. I'll post some pictures up tomorrow night, but for now here is one borrowed from the original sale thread posted by redzed when I bought them from him:
  20. Cheers guys - fingers crossed someone comes along quite quick as things are gathering pace VERY quickly at the moment ha ha!
  21. **UPDATE- 14.11.09** New reduced price - firm at £10750 but as my last post on the thread states Im willing to help meet the next year tax cost if someone comes along before end January. Mileage is now 52500 as have been enjoying it for road trips etc. As you can see Ive taken over a grand off since I put this up- I think it's a fair price for a great car - yes there are GTs for less etc etc but this is the price I want. Any questions or to arrange a look please Pm me Cheers Offers in and around £12k will get the car but please no silly offers. Could keep the car but as we are looking to start a family soon the 2 seater wont be practical but I suppose I have at minimum 9 months Advert is on PH here: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1117306.htm Looking for £12,000 or near offers Mobile number is - 07779314022 Email - rosslad@aol.com If you know anyone who fancies a spot of Chilli in their life give them a nudge my direction - Cheers (Quite a sad feeling) Ross
  22. Just to chip in on this topic I think the ones in the listing may have a centre bore for aftermarket wheels? I think that the OEM centre bore is 68mm - but Im sure someone will be along to confirm or deny that quite soon....
  23. Look awesome - very very Sets the car off really well - one of my fave wheels ever!! Wish I could afford them lol
