  1. Do you know what could be causing the vibration? I assumed (I know you should not assume) it was due to the disc thickness warping Please advise If the discs and pads are quite old/worn they won't be used to the hard braking style you were doing... As you said, once 'normal' braking was resumed all appears to be well. How worn are your discs, do you have a lip forming on the outer edge...
  2. Hi, quite a few disc options for the import, EBC standard and Turbo Groove and also DBA too. Pads are also available from EBC in the Import fitment to, happy to help with this, if you know for sure that they do need replacing...
  3. Very nice, great looking cars, thanks for the photos...

  5. Welcome to the forum... Well worth getting some insurance quotes now, so you know what sort of price you can expect to pay…

  7. Very true, from memory they’re £10.20 from the dealer…
  8. The steering wheel came when you opted for the Alezan leather interior on the MK 1 Zed…
  9. Without seeing the car/clearance and going by the photo, I’d say 15mm would be a better fit, 20mm would maybe protrude too much…
  10. From original fitment the rears wheels/tyres are already wider, 245 on the rear and 225 on the front…
  11. Although that’s a 56 plate, it’s worth noting that it’s the Mk1 Zed… really? how can you tell? It has the rays alloys which i guess the car could have bought, can you tell from the distant interior shot he has taken from the boot? or is there something im missing? To name a few, Headlights and rear lights, rears are none-LED, original front bumper, original square Bose headunit, 3 dials are in the original style...

  14. JPC Auto Refinishing Ltd comes highly recommended by Mark and a few others….
  15. +1 - anyone know the answer to this - no guesses loking at the sig below why I am asking 20mm may be too much, 15mm might be a better bet, do you happen to have a rear shot of your Zed with the LMGT4’s fitted…
  16. Nixy, pack some sunshine in your suitcase and bring it back with you…
  17. I bet it's nice to have your Zed back, how was the work that was carried out...
  18. And whats wrong with the greenstuff pads? If they're not designed for the Z, why to ebc sell them? The pad fitment is shared with many cars, EBC have the Greens for cars producing less than 200bhp and anything over should have the Reds… EBC don’t advertise the Greens for the Zed, only the Reds and Yellows. If you look through all the EBC catalogues you’ll see that the Reds are standard pads and that the Yellows are the Upgrade for all 350z… Ok, thanks for that.. I bought from EBC direct, and had no mention of that. I just had the choice of green or red. I thought red's were more for race as they take awhile to heat up, and dont work great when cold? I dont hammer the car around so find the green pads ok. But I will take your advice & change them when its next serviced. Thanks You're welcome bud... Car looks great, looking forward to seeing it at some shows...
  19. Your red seats look great, I’m sure you’ll have no trouble finding a buyer for those when the time comes…

  21. Sorry to digress but I hope they’re not Greenstuff brake pads on your Zed, as they’re not designed for the 350z, the replacement pads are the Redstuff pads, the Greens shouldn’t be used at all…
