This is provisionally sold

Bought these and never got round to fitting them! They are brand new! £10 + shipping (cost me $20 + extra shipping and taxes to UK) They are like these: Will post a pic of the actual item later.

Guys I bought one of these for my Z when I was thinking of putting in a carputer, however I decided against it as I am selling the car! I will take some photos and get them up later on, but it is the type with the retracting door (mechanical not electric) with no back to the main "box" - making it perfect for installing an LCD screen, it is the same as a lot of guys have used for this purpose. I don't know what year of car it is for, I'll try and track down the part number. Bought it from Nissan for £60.92 and would like to get my money back (less postage) if possible. So anyone who will give me £60 inc delivery gets it! Looks like this, but is not the electric motorised one. Uses a wound metal strip to open and retract back once clicked open.

Parts are all here, not sure what would stay on and what would come off http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic ... 253#106253

Plenty of people after the parts! Will see how it goes selling as is, if no one is interested then I'll find out how much it will cost me to return to stock and start penciling in some numbers for the parts. If you are interested in any of the bits then PM me with a price you are thinking of and I'll tot it all up and make a decision.

Was it before or after you bought your current Z? As long as I get offered a good price then I will sell, just don't want to lose too much. Shame I had already ordered the suspension bits before I proposed to the missus!

Yes, was advertised on Pistonheads before Xmas, I put down a deposit in Dec and picked it up in Jan ( I think ) once the number plate transfer had gone through. I am working on the pics - got some good ones, but a mate has them! I have none of it since it was lowered! Pre-lowering

I am thinking of selling my car (may have to, due to impending wedding ) - that is at selling, not at getting married! I know that when I bought it the mods only added a few £K to the price of the car when compared to a standard one, so I was thinking I may get more retunring it to stock and selling the parts separately. I would have the Vortech S/C kit, kinetix plenum and cats, nismo exhaust, tokico shocks, hotchkiss springs and ARBs and a few more bits and bobs to play with! Worth doing as it would cost me a few £££s to get it all taken off.

Many of you know that I bought Dorian's 350Z about 6 months ago, I don't have the full spec to hand to write at the moment but it is a Z with a lot of money spent on it! I have been umming and ahhing about selling her for some time, but having gotten engaged it looks like I need to downscale to a cheaper car, so will (for now) go back to driving my Audi TT. About the car: It has the Vortech Supercharger kit, with piggyback ECU fitted and mapped by Abbey motorsport, supplying c. 400BHP. It also has Kinetix Plenum, Kinetix High Flow Cats, Nismo Exhaust, one step colder plugs etc. etc. their is a long list of parts! (I'll try and find the original advert and list the full spec of the engine modifications). It also has custom upholstered leather and swede seats with 350Z embroidered in. Since owning it I have added brand new 19" Nismo LMGT4s to replace the nice, but unfortunateley badly kerbed Volks that were on it before. It has also been lowered with Hotchkiss springs, riding over Tokico D-Spec adjustable shocks and also had Hotchkiss adjustable "sway arms" (anti-roll bars) fitted, all together this has tighten up the steering a lot! It has just had an oil change, new spark plugs and been given a general once over at TDi at Lakeside, who also did a four wheel alignment to bring the wheels back into tolerance after being lowered. I would prefer to sell the car to an enthusiast as is, however may consider taking it back to stock (as I have all the original parts) and selling the mods separately, as I may make more money that way! I am not sure on the price at the moment, as I am only possibly selling. I think a lot of people know how much it was bought for and can work out that I have spent a few £K on it myself since then, so I am open to offers and negotiation.

What colour is your Zed? Mine is a GM with a Nismo Exhaust and Nismo alloys, will probably be a few hours behind you, tunnel is only 30 mins but we will be shifting after

Have seen some gold badges which would look good on a Kuro - but think they were gold nissan badges, not gold Zs My car had Zs on it when I bought it! (Thanks Dorian!)

I am thinking my motor will need a new clutch soon, the standard one is showing signs of wear with the S/C on, even though the car has only done about 5K miles since being modded. Any recommendations on a good clutch & fly wheel combo? Had a few recommended but always open to hear others views!

There's a thought Make the free rolling road day this Wednesday - my car is there anyway and it would be interesting to see how much power it is kicking out these days. Didn't feel like 398 when I was chasing an E36 M3 up the A12 yesterday, i should have been hitting the brakes to stop hitting him but I was struggling at times to keep up!
-
I am in a 5 car convoy too, 3 porsches, a new audi TT and my 350. I have the chepaest car but the most BHP :¬) !! Not sure how long the speed ferry takes, tunnel is about 30 mins, but that still means we won't hit France till a good few hours after you - but I'll be keeping my eyes open for all 350s and giving them a wave!
-
Weren't you toying with getting rid, Elrao? I still have my modded TT Roadster sitting in the garage, which kicks out about 265BHP and is a lot less hungry. Is hard to justify 20K sat outside the house doing not a lot when I have a wedding etc. to pay for! Still not sure what I am doing yet.
-
My Z has the Vortech Supercharger fitted, with Kinetix Plenum and Cats and a Nismo exhaust. It is 398BHP at the fly (think it is about 350 at the wheels?). If you want to check mine out before you go to look at this one then I am usually about. Mine is Dorien's old Z, mapped at Abbey motorsport.

It is that time of year again ... who is heading to sunny ol' France next weekend? I am off in my Z, think it is the 10.42 EuroTunnel train I am on, on Thursday morning. Camping in Karting Nord with a load of Porache drivers, so would be nice to see some more Zeddies about!

Sunny Shenfield!

Nice but dont do it! People will make the exact same reference And the bad thing about that is..... I think that is awesome. I know I can't afford a bloomin Aston - else I'd have a v8 vantage! +1 by the way what you doing sunday night? Drinking cheap beer up at my university alumni bash I am afraid else I'd be along to meet up!

There is an aerial amplifier in the back there somewhere, if that is it then it would explain the radio interference as having a power supply close to an RF signal will cause mucho interference.
-
OK - so I went and picked up the Micra harness after work, after grounding the earth wire to the chassis the stereo powered up, got my ipod etc. all running through it Got the bluetooth head unit set up to with my phone, didn't get as far as the PAC-ALP kit, which is all soldered up with the resistors...I just need to connect the wires into the car (Hopefully just three wires!) and then program it. Oh - and then I need to wire in the amp for the bass speaker. One (hopefully easier) yet still outstanding issue is the radio, looks like I do need an adapter for the aerial cable as the male end on my aerial lead is to big for the female connector on the alpine head unit. Any ideas which adapter I need (ISO to DIN, NISSAN to ISO ???). Cheers

Cool, contact me as I am deffo interested - If I keep the car then I think this is the front I want for it.
