  6. Nice one Neal. Good luck with everything. One big question - which is faster, the Astra VXR or the 350z??! I know you must feel it more in the vxr due to the turbo but be interesting how it compares. Also which version of 350z did you have - ie the 276bhp model etc? Cheers Matt tbh in a straight line.... it would be close...i think the astra would win tbh...the power to weight ratio is rather similar... infact the early 276 models im guessing has less.... astra 240 bhp - 1300kg.. direct to front wheels 350Z 276 bhp - 1500hg..transfered to rear wheels via prop shaft... around the twisties the astra gets licked but... how many of us race through a-b roads anymore...
  7. good for u my man.. i did the opposite.. came from an astra vxr (power red) the first and most important mod on that car is to get the milltek (with un resonated down pipe/remus/wortec exhaust on it... completely different car after that....then get either bluefin or remap from tms...50 bhp and 30 lbs/ft for 1600 approx pending on which exhaust u get... gotta be done... i had the paino black interior and truth be told yes it was nicer than the silver crap but... finger print heaven....... but have fun with it... and pres and hold sport button -ho
  8. i will have the seats off u........... think i would like good in my white Z...... -ho
  9. great knights of oden......... the hammer of thor....
  10. hahaha.. ive always seemed to have it lucky with insurance... vx220 turbo at 19.. insurance was 1600... i mean its hefty amount but considering car and the age of me... not bad... just think my postcode is tres good... i use to live up in place called darras hall... it would wipe 200 quid of any insurance quote i got simply because it was millionaires ville so the postcode was excellent... so admiral it is for me... i checked a multicar policy with a scooby spec c... came to 1780 in total for spec c and z.... now im just trying to persuade my bro to go halfers with me on one.... good times
  11. Wouldnt see it being a prob, im 22 and have had a multi car quote for a year now, will find out for ya though cheers sexy.... i think ill be going with admiral regardless.... there quote for me is nothing short of amazing.. 720 quid.. all mods declared.... excess of 500 and i have 0 ncb and 2 claims..my mummy as second driver of course..........will be 23 when i renew so as per title will just be a bonus -ho

  13. ooo... this is interesting.... admiral are my cheapest renewal.. this is good news ... can i ask whats stopping sum1 for say me... lips getting a bit scuffed... and just braking it... then just claiming for a new one for 50 quid instead of like 450 quid... -ho
  14. whatever u feel comfortable with big guy... many on here love the falkens.. ive not bonded with them as such... so each to their own... get some p zeros... ive got some on my octavia vrs and it does a pretty dam good job in the wet.. but thats 212 bhp compared to 313ps........ -ho
  15. just to throw something in to the mixer..... im not keen on the falkens i have on... most likely be changing mine come summer time to eagle's/vredestiens or toyos -ho
  16. and of course vredestein ultrac sessanta or however u spell the whole lot.... very very good tyre according to mr alex and evo mag.. but different car blah blah but they came second behind the eagle f1's
  17. goodyear eagle f1's assemetrics...but unfortunately for u they don't do them on standard rim sizes heheheheh... just thought i would be un-helpful general consensus is if you can afford the premium branded tyres then go for it... but if not the toyo t1'r are a good choice... -ho
