  1. as said above the conversion is usually done at SVA stage - mine was fully converted so the existing KM's were converted to miles and then it clocked up in miles thereafter so just looks identical to a UK version. Other people have to add the original KM's to the miles it clocks up thereafter. I think mine cost me about £100 for the full conversion.
  2. My boss doesnt know about the site That's the funniest thing i've heard all day! Your pipe looks nice though!
  3. Good luck in France! You'll probably have a few more before you get back! Every car i see in the car parks when i'm over there is a shed! As mentioned before I had my wheel arch done - no sign of the repair at all.
  4. If it has Brembos but cloth interior it will be a version S. Looks nice.

    Fuming !!!!

I'm sure lots of people on here have done stuff to their cars themselves.

    Fuming !!!!

Works both ways though - the only time i EVER let my ex take my zed it came back with a nice big scratch on it that he obviously 'didn't do'...............
  7. No incidents to report today - although I was the dumb one a few days ago and got lost (with sat nav) in Wales.........
  8. This woman wasn't stationary though - she was crawling up to the roundabout behind me while only looking in her mirror to put her make up on and not at the road or my car. Smoking in the car is gross but no comparison in terms of danger to putting make up on. You don't need to look in the mirror to smoke!
  9. When i worked for the Police those people were called CLODS - Centre Lane Only Driver
  10. i've seen shaving as well but that's a bit different to prodding your eyes!
  11. Can't get public transport from my house but yeah you're right - an abundance of bimbos at roundabouts on my journey it seems! Seriously - i'm with you on that one, i can't believe someone would be that dumb to think that is acceptable when driving! I was watching her prodding her eyes with her mascara in the mirror while crawling up to the back of my car!
  12. Thats brilliant Malcolm! I saw the title of the thread and thought oh no - another one bites the dust! Great news that youre staying and in a new car!
  13. I was approaching a roundabout this morning - the usual routine crawling up to it in a queue. Looked in my mirror and the woman behind me in a mini was putting mascara on in her rear view mirror! Now I know some of you guys have probably never worn mascara (and some have - Nurrish, Ian, Zedrush....) but i was astounded! Lipstick is bad enough but mascara!! I was just waiting for her to run into the back of my car. What she was doing is far more dangerous than using a mobile phone - i wasn't in the best of moods this morning and really felt like getting out of the car and telling her off!
  14. Don't know if this helps? viewtopic.php?f=9&t=35559&hilit=nephew&start=0 You only need to disable an airbag if you have a rear facing car seat so the child doesn't smash its face into the seat.
  15. what an intro! Glad its all sorted and a happy ending! A friend of my son's crashed a saxo and what was a relatively small impact completely destroyed his car! According to a policeman friend of mine saxo's literally implode on impact!

    My New Shed!!

i could do with something like that myself for trips to the tip etc and other occasions you need a bit of space!
  17. and wait until i see you Colin - suggesting i might prefer to go shopping!
  18. Oh balls i forgot about you Lucy when i instructed mine!
  19. I had mind done by drilling and it came out perfect - was a wheel arch though. I just don't get it when there are loads of spaces why they have to park next to you or why they'd even want the inconvenience themselves! I put it down to just being THICK - they need another car to line up next to or they can't park properly!

    Peugeot RCZ

yeah, i had tonnes of electrical problems and anti-pollution fault issues with my pug at 2 yrs old! I traded it in eventually just to get rid and would never have another. I thought looking at it that it would be a more powerful car than it is.
  21. If they have it for a month or so maybe they can lend you a nice reliable Lupo or something!

    Peugeot RCZ

Was driving behind one today and at first glance until i caught it up thought it was a TT - a very obvious design copy really. However, from the back it looks really good! I really liked the dip in the middle of the roof as well. When i passed it and looked in my RVM it really did just look a lot like any other peugeot. It was getting a few looks though! I have no idea on the power etc
