  1. hello! I'm here. Couldn't visit yesterday as had the day off work and my broadband is down AGAIN!!! Back at work today - allegedly.........
  2. no hate the stubby look and like proper reception I also think the stubby looks horrible - just too chunky looking. I wonder how many people have changed it just because everyone's doing it..........Baaa

    Absolute Scum!

you should be allowed to go to their house and smash up their plasma t.v, playstation and all their games - then give them their brick back - if you know what I mean!
  4. Like other people on here I'm a member of a few different forums and still moderate on a peugeot forum where I've made lasting friendships with people I still spend time with (like FCS last weekend). I think this forum has the balance just right, it's large enough to have the knowledge and answers to questions but not too large so you don't get to know people and can't be bothered trawling through all the posts. It's also one of the most friendly I've come across and the least like a dating agency. There's a distinct lack of women but that might be down to the type of car being more popular with men?
  5. Stay away Dan, she's messing you both about. If she's with him, she shouldn't be texting you. You could never trust her again. I haven't stayed friends with any exes it doesn't work. Let it go.
  6. Stay strong Dan, most of us have been there at some time or other. You feel as if you will never get over it but the truth is, you do! Some time soon you will look back and wonder why you were so upset because you will be with someone else who is right for you and not someone that cheated on you, because although you have been very generous in your words, that is what she is, a cheat. You deserve better and you'll get there in the end, we all do!
  7. I'm confused now! I'm not sure what I've got away with. I've just put my registration into the DVLA vehicle enquiry page and it says my liability is £99 for 6 months so I presume it will be the same next time.
  8. Mine was registered in UK last month and cost the same as any other 2003 Z - it would appear they must go by date manufactured in the case of an import.
  9. I do feel that having a car that I hardly ever see another one of on my travels around these parts entitles me to do a bit of mad waving when I do - I've only passed 3 now since I got it last month. That's the first one that flashed me first though!
  10. Was driving home yesterday at about 3pm ish. Spotted a GM Z with a private reg coming towards me flashing his headlights. As he got closer he waved and was sporting a pair of black leather driving gloves - what a pro! I waved back. I was so excited to be flashed that I nearly crashed into the car in front which had stopped suddenly!
  11. Been raining all day here as well again. We did manage one day this week where it didn't rain at all even though it was forecast - i was amazed! That just makes your car look worse though as the muck dries on!
  12. I know of 2 good ones which I've used but they are more York area than Leeds - PM me if you want details.
  13. Just arrange an interview with both - they might hate you when they meet you!
  14. yep, that's what I thought - it doesn't usually go off when it's parked up my drive - well it has once - at 7am on a sunday morning as you'd expect!
  15. You could have more difficulty getting a mortgage until you are made permanent but there's probably way's around that. As for BT looking after people, don't be too sure, they have changed a lot in recent years. One of my sisters is a senior manager at BT and hates it and the way they treat staff although that will vary in different areas of the company! Just keep your options open.
  16. I was in a restaurant earlier this week with a friend and my car was parked across the road but I could see it from the window. I was constantly looking to see if it was ok and was amazed how many people I saw stopping and peering through the car window! It was quite amusing. The alarm also went off at one point - it has done that a few times - do you think I should have it looked at to see if it can be made less sensitive? If anything really heavy goes by it goes off. Or should I just leave it and think what the hell?
  17. no pleasing you eh gobby? You moan if you're not missed then you moan if you are....................
  18. Got to say, my first thought was - it's because Louis has not been as gobby lately!
  19. yeah that's what I'm going to do but if I have to my back one will look rubbish as the N11 will be at the top and XYD at the bottom.
  20. what sort of spacing did she have? Mine is obviously quite 'wrong' and i've been slightly nervous about it but up to last weekend had not come across any police. However, I pulled into a garage for fuel on saturday, parked up at the side of the garage to program my sat nav, looked up and there's 2 traffic cars parked right in front of me with the coppers stood talking at the side of them. They looked at the car, looked at me and just gave me a sort of knowing 'tut tut' type look and a shake of the head. I was terrified to move off as I knew how much worse the back one was spaced so I just sat and played it cool for a while. Anyway, they left me alone so up to press its: Nixy 1 - Police 0. Only a matter of time though I think!
  21. Well now I AM disappointed - you've been so reliable in the past Tim!
  22. I don't think my import does it but I just do the switch every time. However, I don't use my keyfob to lock the car I have a seperate fob on the new cat 1 alarm that does the whole thing and I'm not sure what would happen if I then pressed the original key fob - any ideas?
  23. Well you're heads plenty big enough to go round anyway...............
