I understand your pain. I ordered mine in march, was hoping to have it end of May then got it in June 2 days before I went away on bloody holiday! fingers are crossed!
just think of all that petrol money your saving, miles that aren't going on your car, nasty weather that will make it dirty, erm, can't think of anything else - trying to put a positive spin on it!
I've mentioned this before I think but filling my Z up is a real pain. The JDM has such a tiny filler hole it's an art in itself to get the nozzle in but even though I've mastered that one I can still only put the fuel in so slowly it takes forever! I only managed 3/4 of a tank last time because I was stood there so long I couldn't be bothered to keep going! Anyone got any tips to stop the flaming thing clicking off all the time when filling up?
I know exactly what you mean about the sleepless nights. I'm the same nearly every time I change my car. I can't switch my brain off with the excitement. I'm no better for the first few days after i've got it either. I have to keep looking out of the window. Once I actually had to get up at about 4 in the morning because I just couldn't get to sleep at all! What a saddo!
That is spectacular! did this happen at an organised meet? Is that why there's another one behind him? I'm amazed that he got out of that ok but thank god he did!
I went to see Death at a Funeral last night. I didn't know what to expect. Thank god I took a hanky - I was crying my eyes out with laughing. It was made all the more worse by the fact that me and my friend were in the cinema and only 2 other people were in there so every time we started laughing they knew it was us which just made us want to laugh even more. It is really really funny and I would highly recommend it!
Dan, you could've given it a clean! Only joking looks great. Funny you should mention it looking a bit lower. I always thought my version S looked a little lower as well.
I've got one lurking around in the bottom of my handbag but want a new head unit so haven't bothered. I wish I'd done it just to be going on with because I've had Terry since June now and I can't stand him!
hi and welcome. Can't help you I'm afraid. I know there has to be a model report before a car can be passed but I don't understand the reasons etc. Are you going through the SVA process yourself or is someone doing it for you? Why can't the person importing the car answer the query?
When I had my car imported I was told that a Cat 1 alarm would have to be fitted and this was factored into the price. The importer arranged it as part of the process and I got a certificate which I had to send to the insurer. Maybe there should be a certificate somewhere for your car already? I'm not sure what kind of standard alarm is fitted on the JDM version so it may be something you'll have to get done unless there's already something there but it's just the certificate that you haven't got.
