  1. Note the mirrors are folded in - probably did that automatically! Looks lovely, if I was still looking I wouldn't hesitate!
  2. Hello there, you're not a million miles from me either. In fact my inlaws live in Seacroft (but don't tell anyone!)
  3. can't do this, I like too many different things for different reasons and it changes all the time. Braveheart music makes me cry though..............
  4. ah that's great news then if it's an aftermarket UK sat nav - I can chat to a lovely japanese woman on mine and see a nice map of japan!
  5. you would probably enjoy rifling my 90's record collection then.
  6. Teddy Riley eh? I went to see him at Manchester Apollo when he was in a group called Guy - bit before your time me thinks.
  7. Hi there and welcome. Are you the first UK owner? If you're aftermarket sat nav is jap then that won't work either I'm afraid. Nice looking motor though of course. And if you're buying the car from a dealer thats already imported it shouldn't they sort out the light for you?
  8. I don't want to offend anyone here so please don't take this colour business the wrong way BUT, I think it's a good thing if you're a TO owner that they've stopped doing it. When I was looking for a Z the first thing I said was I definitely don't want silver - nearly all the ones that were for sale at the time in my price range were silver or GM and all the ones on the road I had seen were silver as well, i wanted something more unusual and that's why I think the orange will re-sell just fine. Bet if you do an autotrader search now there will be tons of silver ones. It's a stunning colour but it's not always a good thing when it's too easy to get hold of.
  9. well I can't be the only one that likes it best. Sunset was the first Z I ever saw. It was in a car park and as soon as the engine started I knew I had to have one. Anyway Sarnie, what you doing here, shouldn't you be on strictly come dancing?
  10. I think you're all rotten, I love the orange and the sunset obviously. I never realised sunset was hard to shift, all I know is that that was my first colour choice and it was very hard to get one.
  11. I suddenly don't feel as old as I did looking at some of those cars! My list: Fiat Uno Peugeot 309 Golf GTI Mk2 Suzuki Vitara Soft top fat boy version Mazda MX3 V6 BMW 3 series compact Golf GTI Mk4 Jaguar X Type Peugeot 206cc Honda Civic Type R 350z

    Kev's New Car

very nice indeed! Are you quite a petite man then Kev?
  14. I'm back again in 2 weeks to sit in a darkened room! If you have to do that every day I feel sorry for you!
  15. what about a nice big rat infested island where they get dropped off by parachute.
  16. you're correct about the playstations etc but although I do not agree with it there is a reason. If someone is in prison for example life then they have nothing to lose by being violent and uncontrolable. They use this stuff as a way to control them by reward or loss. I used to do the same thing when my son was little! Personally I think they should be out breaking rocks all day and then locked up all night!
  17. that's my point, why is our public transport so crap and so expensive. Other countries can do it why can't we?
  18. you're not accounting for the fact that I'm geographylexic and Millbank tower is right in the scary middle bit of London!
  19. they are bloody horrible - what the hell are they for?
  20. I think it would cost a tad more than £40 from York!
  21. definitely something to be wary of. My son wanted me to do the same for him when he got his car. I wouldn't do it. His insurance was £1600 with Liverpool Victoria fully comp before he passed his test. He paid it monthly by direct debit as he's working. He has now got 2 years no claims and has just taken out a policy for tp fire and theft for about £400. On the other hand, one of his mates had his dad as the insurer and wrote his car off, Dad insured again on the next car and he wrote that off as well! His dad also took 3 points for him when he was speeding. My son has never even had a bump - probably because he has more to lose as it's HIS insurance. Sometimes you just have to do it the hard way!
