  1. Ask 'Envy' , They might have some in stock. They buy bulk shipments of stuff from the USA so shipping is cheaper and thus price passedon to you. Worth an ask. Jamie
  2. paint it though, carbon will look 'ricey' as the americans say
  3. equibs ones are basically Veilside V1. Ive thought about lips etc, but overall the best imrovements come with a new bumper. . . . Aerosync Nismo V1. Clean and smooth. Think thats what ill be getting. Either that or a SHine Nismo V2 J

  7. if you can wait, i would wait until the LED Backlight LCD screens come down in price. Samsungs F96 range has them but they are very expensive at the moment (about £2.5k for a 52"er) . Basically if it allows for 'TRUE BLACKS', as matix of little LED lights can be fully turned 'off' in the dark areas of the screen as opposed to the CCFL backlights which are long strips, which are behind the screen which cannot be turned off to darken certain areas of the screen. the difference is astounding and worth the wait in my opinon. Its only a matter of months until other manufacters start employing this. . . http://www.samsung.com/uk/products/tele ... bdxxeu.asp reviews etc http://www.avforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=602087 this forum is the best for ongoing UK AV discussions http://www.avforums.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=155 Jamie

  9. Basically look into what caused the sieze, review findings and start pointing fingers and hope they will accept responsibility if it is their fault
  10. could be a heat sheild, but, more likely it is comign from INSIDE the Y-pipe that is yes, under the gear shifter area. Theres nowt u can do about it though as its an airflow characteristic that is causing the buzzing/rasp. I have decats on my car and its VERY noisy around that 2000rpm mark. Ive had the car up on jacks and everything but it really is just a resonate rasp thing which i can do nothing about. Try heatshield first though
  11. i find alloy wheel cleaner sprayed into the pipes, left for a bit, and then brushed and washed off works well, followed by a polish if required. but hten fujitsubo 5" slash cuts are a litte easier to clean than standard items. . .
  12. my350z.com is your friend. . . .
  13. she? wow, didnt realise she was a she, nice to see girls can be just as into Z's and superchargers as us guys. . dude I didnt realise either but aspparently prescience learnt alot from her, she is Mr Miyagi in the Z world she also flys Super Jet planes, unbelievable Also Adam knows alot in this area too as he gave limiter alot of advice tere really knows her stuff, but I did accumulate what little knowledge I have off my own bat - by trawling through countless threads and posts from the States (containing about 95% crap and 5% useful stuff). There are no shortcuts in truth, but I will always advise where I can 95% crap is about right lol and 'use the search function flameage, which is about as useful as a kick in the balls they can be such a friendly bunch over on my350z

  15. they are anodised mate . . way to test. . . Get a multimeter and put it on 'continuity test', basically it tests for conductivity through whereever you put the two probes. . . . .if its laquered it wouldnt pass current. . . but they are anodised. . .so they do. . . Volks are NOTORIOUSLY touchy about wheel cleaners, it has etched the anodisation and like you say only way is to strip and either chrome them, or, get them polished up and just polish them once a month or so. . . . . . heres a link to someone in the states that did just that,. . . . http://www.my350z.com/forum/showthread.php?t=167656 I have some 'Autoglym wheel cleaner for anodised wheels', its got a blue label and its a spray gun one which ill be using and has no acid in it like other cleaners do. gutted for you mate as you wernt to know. . .. best you can hope for i guess is good will from your supplier, just one of those things. . . .shoulda woulda coulda and all that g.luck Jamie
  16. what wheels are they? if they are volks, they are anodised and they will not garentee a repair on anodised rims. Though, if they were fully stripped and then re-chromed as that is all they could do, or polish em and laquer them and 'start a fresh' so to speak, i imagine they could garantee there results. Call them up . . . I did a lip repair on my own anodised volks with a dremel, some P1200 and metal polish. Results are pretty darn good. Rims were second hand so needed a little repair, but im happy with the result, as no one would really touch them unless they did a complete strip Jamie
  17. . . . . . and be replaced . . . . . . . . with a stubby one
