just make sure the vx220 you are looking at isnt blue and being sold by a guy called 'Imran' lol I think I have shortish legs and long body, so the legroom is ok for me. It's the VX220 Turbo I'm looking at, so much quicker than the Elise. I possibly would have an Elise if it wasn't for the stupid K series engine popping its gasket every few miles

bascially the rasp is characterisic of the engine/ exhaust setups. . .like on the BMW M3. . . you wont rid it very easily. .

Yep Lovely car. . . . agreed a Z is a Z . . . . if turbo kits were not such a huge expense and risky for these cars it may seem like smaller decision to make, a 'hell why not' idea, but £10K+ and the upkeep make it really a labour of love, or. . . a money kit and you can end up becoming a little bit like the Nova boys in south end. . . . good you have known where to draw the line. . be warned though . . . im sure in the future the 'lets fiddle with it' bug will return in a lighter form . . .your obviously a car enthusiast after all Jamie

If your like me, it was the throttle body getting dirty. Mine got so bad that once i disconnected the battery, when i reconnected it, it wouuldnt re-start without some throttle when it was warm. I assume the computer had compensated for it up until the point it got reset. cleaned out the throttle body, and its smooth as now. Idle without A|C on isnt to lumpy either Jamie
