bascially the rasp is characterisic of the engine/ exhaust setups. . .like on the BMW M3. . . you wont rid it very easily. .

Yep Lovely car. . . . agreed a Z is a Z . . . . if turbo kits were not such a huge expense and risky for these cars it may seem like smaller decision to make, a 'hell why not' idea, but £10K+ and the upkeep make it really a labour of love, or. . . a money kit and you can end up becoming a little bit like the Nova boys in south end. . . . good you have known where to draw the line. . be warned though . . . im sure in the future the 'lets fiddle with it' bug will return in a lighter form . . .your obviously a car enthusiast after all Jamie

no 2 different amps. amp for the sub is in WITH the sub. stock amp = £25 sub and sub amp= £25

If your like me, it was the throttle body getting dirty. Mine got so bad that once i disconnected the battery, when i reconnected it, it wouuldnt re-start without some throttle when it was warm. I assume the computer had compensated for it up until the point it got reset. cleaned out the throttle body, and its smooth as now. Idle without A|C on isnt to lumpy either Jamie

Hey Zedrush I have Focal Polyglass 165 V2 components up front in some door pods made by a user on my350z.com called WickedCAS In the rear i have Focal Access 165CA's I have a JL audio 10w6v2 in the back in an 'understrut' box again bought from the US by another guy. All powered by 2 Rockford Fosgate amps. The speakers are getting about 80wrms each and the sub 630wrms +A Load of dynamat Now ive got it all setup, and it sounds great. Perfect balance and amazing quality. Took fair bit of work. Amps are where the stock BOSE is, and i had to run a new speaker wire through the door loom for the front door speakers. Depends how handy you are with electronics, but maybe its worth getting someone to do it for you ? I dont know, dont ask me though . . . . this is my fifth install now . . . . probably my last. . .until i get another car Though it was relatively easy, to disassemble everything Prestige car audio did someones 350z install here.
