  1. LOL Sushi Menu . . . Did the speedo conversion you had done not convert the center contol as well? The one i used makes the center dash count up in Miles, average speed etc all work, just has the KM/h sign there and the KM/L i guess is just Miles/L but its so bloody unaccurate
  2. Was this after changing yours to a UK one? How did you get on?
  3. The last pic of the Z in the first post . . . whos is that? I went for a holiday in Edinburgh on the weekend of June 14th and i saw that Z buzzing around! Got some pics as well . . .it looked tidy. Nice rear Jamie
  4. Copter tape looks GOOD! I think i will use that as the first layer and also kind of wrap it up round the front of the lip then use something like this : - http://www.kenilworthspares.co.uk/Detai ... ProdID=415 and put it along the underside with like 1/2 inch sticking out along the front edge. should do the job! No its nothing major, its on the underside so cant see and minor, but ive only had it a week and its bound to happen again so gotta protect my baby! J
  5. Easier said than done! Spent all sunday checking clearence, thinking i was fine, then yesterday, must have come in at slightly different angle. . . . .
  6. Hey all i need to find a way of protecting my front Aerosync lip form accidental damage. Im being very careful, but already got a minor scrap coming into my driveway today so want to find a way to protect it from little dings ANyone know of a strong rubber tape maybe that could be used? or a tape that is particularly resistant to abrasion? cheers J
  7. Power Enterprise seems to be the safest on the stock block. Call Envy performance for all details
  8. Latest Update: - Managed to get the REAR spacers off!!! It appears that the rear spacers weird nuts have been replaced with normal nuts so i was able to remove them. Tyres are fine now, no rubbing and i have managed to get back into my drive! Ordering a proper tool so i can remove the fronts in time, at least i can drive it though now. I tried experimenting with an allen key cut into bits, an oversized socket, and some metal epoxy . . . . use you imagination, anyway, it didnt work that well so proper tool is the way forward for the front thanks to all that have helped, its what this forum is all about! car looks amazing, pics to follow in another thread Jamie
  9. LOL yeah i was going to contact you and tell you about it! Funny how i have only just found out too!! Obviously the previous owner was bit of an enthusiast in Japan Who is this chris at JDM then? how can i contact him? Is it something he would even keep in stock? before i get a machine shop knock something up to remove these suckers regards Jamie
  10. yeah but it looks like the collars are holding the spacer in place ont he standard threads, and the threads coming out of the spacer are what the wheels are bolted to now! grr
  11. Yeah it seems like that. Just need to understand how to get those collars off! Im going to take it to a tyre place tomorrow, but im not sure how they will get on. There must be a tool arouid to remove it! Jamie
  12. LOL yes a random question maybe, but basically i bought the car from Japan 18 months ago and i have just fitted some new Volks racing SF- Challenge 19" - 10.5" +18 rear and 9.5" +18 front with and i had it on good authority from Adam at Z1 and also others who have these tyre sizes that 285/30-19 rear and 265/30- 19 T1R's should fit fine with no rubbing, well, as i went to drive into my drive way with my new shoes, got MAJOR rubbing on the rear. Damn! So i couldnt even get into my owv driveway :icon18: Its at a friends house until i can figure out what to do Basically judging by these pics, do i have spacers? I have not seen anyone elses hubs, and never known any different so put me out of my misery Also, if so, how am i gonna get them off? They look kinda hard to remove! I have these spacer looking things on all 4 wheel hubs! and i just noticed some brand writing on one of the pics so i am thinking i do Much appreicated Jamie
  13. Now i bet the fuel ecomony is terribel !!! Don t you have any respect for the environment!??? Jokes!!! Looks Awesome matey, those supra blocks aint half strong tooo, shame their so heavy, otherwise they could go in the Z J
  14. DOnt know about you lot but this fuel thing has all the markings of spin and a secondary agenda. It does make any sense in anyway shape or form for countless reasons. It can only go so far until @*!# and a fan meet. What will happen? Fuel is still cheaper than water in Saudi Arabia. It will be interesting to see how things turn out , especially in the current world of mixed global warming religion. mixed messages and double standards. how much is it to buy an old fuel lorry/tanker with fuel intact and shipping it over from Saudi? Jamie
  15. to hear that! no probs. Let me know if you hear of any others. regards J
  16. has he? i cant see ? thanks though Jamie
  17. OEM Carbon bonnet wanted (Seibon probably) Wanted in Excellent condition. To pay around £350. regards Jamie
  18. Hey! yeah twas me. Pics look great, nice to see it in its glory. Wheels look fab, the rear spoiler as you say is abit like marmite, love or hate it, but as you say, its definelty very Jap! and so its cool:) What am i having done? Having an Aerosync N1 front bumper fitted + a few minor repairs from someone reversing into me.. and. . not leaving a note! thankfully front bumper bore the brunt, which was getting replaced anyway, and a minor dent on the wing. Also have so Volks SF-Challenge 19" Gunmetal wheels going on it too wrapped in some nice rubber. Just dropped it at the shop today, really excited as to what it will like like when its done, had the wheels for over a year and had not put them on. All ready for the summer dont forget to beep and wave Jamie
  19. what ballpark figure is it costing you out of interest? J
  20. maybe for the 'WINGS' radio system think they have over there Cheers Digsy, yeah Rickya glad sorted now Have any ideas on part number for future reference?
  21. i honestly yhink that you can, like i say, do a search o here for windscreen under the name 'Ricka' and ull see that he also had this. I canno think what it is for though. its not GPS, ans the antenna is behind the seat, its not for the phone surely, as UK cars have that as an option but done have it. Do you have any additional buttons that you 'dont know what they do#, near your ESP button? J
