24yrs old. I act like im 16 and feel like im 65.

  5. All in the name of Justice! Ming the............. Another top story!
  6. Kev, Steve, Mike - Thanks for all your advice. I have taken all your points on board but i'm still wanting to do a uk track i am familiar with, so i'm swaying towards the novice day at donington. I've done plenty of reading and know to build my speed progressivly, be aware of other vehicles, pre-vehicle checks and to warm up/warm down etc.. but I will be getting an instructor to assist me with the first few sessions for sure and i'm just going to build from there. I'm not planning on pushing my car so much as to go near any armco's so hopefully i wont be finding out how much they hurt. I'm really looking to learn how to be smoother, realise the potential of a RWD car as this is my first and, to get a taste for trackdays.
  7. thanks for you replies. Im still Baffled by what to do? i'd prefer to stick to a uk track and not airfields as i would rather experience the bumps and cambers etc.. I may do an open pitlane at donnington or something.
  8. What about the Brands Hatch one later in the month max 25 cars, do you think it will be just as bad? http://www.motorsportvision.co.uk/brand ... uctID=2859 I could do a full day, but i want to get a taster for it first before i take the plunge.
  9. Hi all, Ive been looking at doing a trackday but as im a complete novice i liked the look of this which i found from an old thread of Mike's http://www.motorsportvision.co.uk/snett ... uctID=2840 What do you guys think of the overall package? Is Snetterton a good track to start with the Z? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks Chris
  10. Oh yeah didn't notice? Doh.. With someone posting on it today i thought it was a recent topic. Im pretty sure i read it on a honda website. anyway sorry.
  11. Ive seen this pic before quite a while back...if memory serves me right i believe the crack was down to the slot being incorrectly cut. I believe it was that the slot should not go near to the edge of the disk and as you can see from the picture it deos on two accounts - the small slot goes to the top outer edge of the disc and the larger slot goes into the inner red bit. TheMinel - where did you get the picture from?
  12. Theminel - "click on his sig, it links to his website" I tried this earlier but it didn't do anything. I'll PM him, Thanks!
  13. Ok ive scanned yahoo and the forum but i cant find any link to ESR? Ive even looked for his I.d on here but i'd be dammed if i can find it... ok im useless! Can anyone help?
  14. sorry to go alittle off topic but does big phil have a company or such? The lip looks V.Nice by the way.
  15. V.Nice! Its well spec'd and i especially like the Wheels and the carbo bits. That thing must be rapid with tons of grip. Good luck anyhow
  16. I also have a jdm which is out of warranty. if i were u i'd go for it especially if its one of the basic services. It seems to me that some Nissan garages (aka stealers) are hit or miss on how good their workmanship/customer service is too, I personally found them o.k. and their prices to be reasonable but i doubt i will go back again. Depends on whats important to you really, the services are pretty much done to manufacturers standards anyway from what i can gather, just cheaper labour. As long as you find a respectable garage then its all good in my eyes. I'd recommend TDI north in warrington. All in my humble opinion of course.

Geez your right it is a porsche!
  20. Just found this pretty hilarious! http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/6213644.stm
  21. ir_fuel - lol! lomoto - Next mod? Mmmmm i've been thinking about this. Being Jap like yours it didnt come with the rear spoiler so i dont know if it needs one or even a whole bodykit fitting. Ive also been thinking about 19" wheels, new ecu, Tokico dampers and RS-R springs and even the Y-pipe. i think the body mods and 19" wheels are edging ahead though. If i won the lottery i'd be having all them done at once!
  22. Sweet! Your a dab hand at this photo stuff.
  23. Your right i did buy this purely for the sound and looks. I did not expect any performance gains at all especially as it is only a small section of the exhaust and does not include the Y-pipe or decats. I also have read on here that the ecu is meant to alter things and cancel out any effect that the exhaust may have but i can genuinly and honestly say i feel i have gained some performance. Its nothing major but it seems to pull better throught the revs. I've got a K&N typoon fitted (and had the HKS SLD wired in although i guess this will have not done anything) but the exhaust seems to have matched the intake perfectly. I understand you being sceptical and It could be that my standard exhaust was faulty or whatever but the car definatley runs smoother even from a cold start up. Id love to have rolling roaded this before and after fitting, but its too late for that now. I'll just have to get r/r anyway. Maybe the sound is giving me a different sensation but it doesn't seem that way. I'd have loved to get hold of the Nismo or HKS but they were alittle out of my price range. The Kakimoto was only a month old and less than half its original price.
  24. Pics are from my phone so their not that good..sorry. I'll see if i can get a soundclip up sometime but this will also be done on my phone so quality of that mite be iffy too. It sounds better under load nothing over the top or chavvy just a deep throaty rumble at low revs with a change in note as the revs rise turning into a kinda purping sound?? lol. if that makes any sense to you. Overall i couldnt be happier, Sound quality and also build quality are top. Its certainly pleasing on the ear! The exhaust is hanging a little low for me personally (as in you can see the canister of each exhaust) so im going to try and raise it somehow and get the tailpipes to fit the bumber holes alittle snugger. Once ive done that and cleaned the car up then i'll be putting the pics on this thread.
