Just been talking to some people at work and they suggested for what i want, the D40 does everything i need, i can then sell my existing 18-55mm lens and buy the 50mm AF, which does work with the D40, i just need to manually focus. Metering will work unlike that Ken says. Im picking it up tomorrow

But how accurate are those costs? I wouldnt trust anything that is circulating at the moment as so much information is confliting. This is my problem, people have their cars already, yet there is no direct information from the dealers as to what the EXACT costs are...someone else i know who has one on order has requested this information and still the dealers cannot confirm the service costs and other costs associated with the car. He has been told that the pre-track inspection is not a requriement, however the £125 (or so) costs for post track inspection is, this came from the dealer themselves but they will not put it in writing.

Does anyone know when you can get out of the PCP contract? I know on some finance deals you can hand the car back when you are in positive equity with the finance company or pay a settlement figure, however are there other ways to get out of the deals without blacklisting yourself?

I have a problem with speed bumps, surly they should be designed so that you can go over them at the speed limit for that road...for example a 30mph road with speed bumps should allow you to go 30mph over them safely and comfortably and not 10mph

On a recent CarLimits day, Amanda was posting 61s lap times against my 55s and a best on the day of 53s from a Evo pushing out around 350HP. Was an RX8 day and most posted about 57-59s. This from a girl who very rarely drives my car. I reckon if she held the throttle pinned more on the straights she'd shave another 2s from her time easily. She'd give you a right kicking Id love to give that a go

I had a mega panic moment in my car becasue of footware - not mine though! Laura was driving the Zed, in flip-flops. She managed to get her foot/flip-flop wedged onto the accelorator when approaching a roundabout. Thank christ there was no one coming! You let her drive??? She's a good driver. Wouldnt let her anywhere near the Zed otherwise. She used to own a 300ZX, so she knows what to do with rear drive powerful cars. Ahh thats ok then. Just make sure she doesnt drive recklessly or that copper will have you done for it
