COOL ! Both dates fine by me and Location is also perfect - not too far for me to go! But i would like to state that i don't mind going further for the meet - if anyone wants to meet more 'centrally' !? Any plans as yet for a 'route' for us to go for a blast along / place to roll through in a large posse of Z's !? I do think that a big group of Z's grumbling though the centre of Glasgow or Edinburgh would be quite cool !? But a blast from our point of view along some lovely B roads through little villages etc. would best suit a daytime meet. Not much to see past 7pm these days - the nights are fair drawin' in !

Hold on a minute - let me get this straight .... you've posted 3203 times on this forum since the beginning of this year and i'd suspect that at least 60 - 70% of those were in some way or another involving both Liam's Z and Sarnie who both have been here for about the same amount of time and have an equally impressive post count ... and yet you STILL GET THEM CONFUSED !?!? And i thought it was only me that was 'mentally challenged'

Came across an RS4 myself this morning - he was sitting in the other lane of traffic and checking me out. Personally i really wasn't bothered by his motor .. two reasons mainly ... 1. It only looks slightly different from the GAZILLIONS of normal rep mobile A4's that are everywhere. and 2.It's got the word ARSE in it's name .. 'what car do you drive ? ... oh it's an ARSE 4 .... eh !? ... WHAT !?' if i were you mate - love the fact that your car turns heads more than most things out there and is pretty much faster than most of them too - if you keep wanting to beat everyone out there then you're going to be disappointed each and every time you come across a half decent Scoobaroo or an Evo.

Had the car a few weeks now and something's been bugging me .... i noticed this sticker under the bonnet and don't know if i actually have this or not !? Any suggestions as to how i can tell - as i've never had a look at a 'stock' engine bay so wouldn't know if there was a difference with mine or not !? Anyway if any technical boffs can tell anything from these photos (or tell me what to look for) then that would be a great help

Hi I don't have an import so i'm afraid i can't answer the question - but don't worry i still ask really silly questions after a month or so on here (however i don't think yours is silly - i think quite a lot of people will be interested in magic 'power' button)

haven't got round to fitting mine yet either - so i'll look forward to your pics Stew - especially any if you can of the rear holes (if you have any) before you fit the Z badge there. Spills Grounding kit arrived today too - so this weekend i'll be fitting those too unless the wife hides it away for Christmas - she has a habit of doing this in the months leading up to December because she doesn't have a clue what to buy me and anything i order for myself she likes to snatch for herself.

Hi Mang tell me - how can this be adjusted - is it by the dealer or is there a way i can do this myself ? Also is there any way you have heard of making the Beep louder (both the intermittent beep and the continuous beep) ?

Got my badges from Funkystyling.com and i don't imagine they could in any way invalidate a Warranty. It's just a couple of badges on the front and rear. Dealer / Service dept. probably wouldn't even notice at a glance.

the badges are completely flat on the rear, and come with pre cut sticky pads here's a photo .... as you can see there's holes in the back - but the holes i was talking about are the ones left in the boot from the pins coming out of the Nissan badge. I have no idea (apart from injection moulding design) why there's these holes on the rear of this Z badge.

Sorry - i know it'll be a simple to answer question - and i HAVE read the great step by step guide on how to remove the Nissan 'burgers'. But what's the best stuff to use to get the sticky stuff left from under them off the paintwork without ruining it before adding the new Z badges !? And whilst i'm on the subject i know there's debate as to whether or not there are pin holes left from under the rear Nissan badge, but even if i do will the new Z badge i've got cover there adequately enough to not need filling or will rain etc. get in there and cause problems without filling.

had a VERY embarasing moment 'against' a Mini Cooper S Works years ago in my old RX8. Now the 8 had ZERO torque and my wife and i had just come back from a trip up north - so the car had the two of us and the two back seats and the boot completely full of stuff. Pulled away from a roundabout with this Mini behind me right on my tail so i thought 'i know i'll put the foot down and lose this clown' ... WRONG ... the RX8 had lost SO much power and the wee light Mini still had it all and more. The last point of this encounter was when i pulled over and my wife (who was previously moaning because i was 'racing') said - 'look he's laughing at you. I haven't spoken to my wife since - she is now dead and burried under my patio - anyone call the cops and i'll deny all knowledge. I will say this though - i did look at the Minis (amongst a few others) before deciding on the Z - i had to cover all options so i thought i had better at least look at them ... however after just one visit to the nearest dealership i decided not to even take a test drive - the outside and inside of the car just doesn't do it for me ... and to the 'lay-person' it might as well be just a Mini 'One' for all they know - so you get Zero respect and the only people turning heads are Mini geeks and boffins. The End.
