  1. Thanks mate. It is a bit out of focus so am going to try some other ideas at the weekend
  2. If its tescos or similar then its over 2 spaces as far as possible from the store, failing that its at the end of a row so only cars on one side & tuck it as far away from the others as possible. I Avoid parking next to 4x4, deffo people carriers, anything with kids seats, cars with old people... so doesnt leave much choice really... I have actually driven out of a carpark before as I couldnt find a decent space. I know you can't tar everyone with the same brush but you just dont know, & yes some folk say well its bound to happen, its only a car.. well sorry but the last thing I want after taking great car of the car is some numpty throwing his door open on it!! Best place to park....... in between 2 other zeds
  3. Interestingly enough my missus had an Integra Type R which was featured in Evo mag before she bought it from Honda. We contacted them & they sent us the issues it was featured in FOC. Still got the mag but the car has since long been sold. Its exciting stuff really ... hope you get it featured again perhaps
  4. Wouldn't say its a problem, the computer thing is only an indication. it makes a calculation based upon the current drive situation at the time as to how far the range is. So if its cold and just started up, if the situation continued like that it will show the distance you can travel before running out, but as it warms and uses less fuel the range will increase. You can also fool it by having a steady run and say sitting on the motorway at 65mph & re setting on the go, you'll be amazed at the dte in that situation but its only real if the drive continues in the same way.
  5. Fortunately no stone chips as the front is paintshielded... the camera has picked up the insecets on the front, only washed it the day before as well, damn bugs! Oh thats ok then - I should have put that stuff on mine when I got it to be fair - its a respray job when it gets past the point of spotty teenager to pot faced teenager! TBH its expensive stuff but preserves the finish... even if you respray next day it can chip so its cheaper in the long run. Did get strange looks when we got the car new at the dealership, inspected it carefully then promptly covered the front of the car with masking tape & drove it to Grantham for the paintshied boys to do their stuff!
  6. Thanks... it'll be those spacers I bought off you that helped
  7. Fortunately no stone chips as the front is paintshielded... the camera has picked up the insecets on the front, only washed it the day before as well, damn bugs!
  8. Just using the camera for fun & a little shot after spacers night.... day...
  9. Spacers tend to make it look a bit lower I think as there isnt that great big gap in the arches anymore
  10. Out of interest I did a trip from Cambridge to Southampton & back in a day and despite getting held up in a 1/2hr que on the M3 the car averaged 30.3mpg on the way there and 28.4mpg on the way back I was absolutely amazed Now I know you're all going to say i wasn't driving it hard enough, but I got there very quickly and similar on the way back after the que & not much came passed me Just brill how such a performance machine can be so economical at the right side of 70mph !!! AND to top it all I didnt see another one all day
  11. Now that is one nice looking zed... love those wheels
  12. Well have to say fitted spacers over the weekend as well as wash/polish/wax wheels & clean & treat wheel arches. They just transform the look of the car really fill the arches nicely. No issues elsewhere feels just as planted as ever. Thanks for the help guys
  13. Not sure where this pic came from but just love those rims!
  14. Ahh might just do that... I'm North Herts but... going to Bushey tomorrow so getting that way, be good to see in the flesh I'll pm you later if its definate. Thanks

  16. I have and always use Einszett premium cockpit cleaner, keeps the interior looking like it did the day it left the factory http://www.autogeek.net/1z-einzett-cockpit-premium.html (you can get it here in the UK as well)
  17. Anyone use these with standard Rays & suspension, pros / cons? Was looking to fill the arches a bit without messing up the handling any views?
  18. like those a lot ...need a stubbie on that back wing though
  19. Funny you should raise this issue... I'm thinking of same but swopping the Impreza for 1, fancy doing some touring next year and use it as a work horse. Spoke to the Local stealer as I was after something early to mid 20's He said come up at the weekend, as he had a 06 TD V6 with 34k miles for £30k.. over my budget but thought it was good for a look, wouldn't take us out in it but said he would get one we could drive. Up turns a 56 reg in silver with a bloke to sit in while we drove, he said similar to the other one but this is a Vogue SE not an HSE!.....just a few more bits inside! anyway it was great to drive and pretty quick for a diesel and for a barge wasn't too bad round corners. Got back to showroom and sales guy was just 2 busy to talk got fed up with hanging around and left. Did a bit of internet research on the two cars when I got home only to find that the one we drove, not only was it a higher spec and 6months newer, but it was also the V8 diesel and on their site for £68K Now how anyone is to make a true comparason is beyond me. Must say it was pretty good but not 68K good!!
  20. Phil will prob be about £900 ish delivered to you door I think? with full UK back up and a service to go with it if theres anything wrong its only a call away and rectification is a simple process... you dont have to pack it up and send back to the states and wait. i'm sure that certain peeps in the US are highly efficient and there's a great back up service...but its not always produce price, there needs to be a service with it. ... its your choice
  21. Exactly, somebody is basically trying to get 100% of their money back which is fair doo's but i don't think its gonna get sold at that price. Why not its still a good deal is it not??
  22. Also leave the mirrors out otherwise you may catch the nearside front wing I find that they act as a guide when reversing in....also open the drivers window when you open the door to get in & out makes it easier ....less chance of chopping your ear off with the window edge when you squease in
