    Engine Cover paint

I would assume that normal spray paint will be fine http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic ... c&start=15 ^^ Phil did say in this thread that the high temp paint is not needed for the plenum, so I would guess that for the engine cover you could use normal touch up spray cans

The halfords high temp spray cans are ok for upto 500degrees. I've just bought some to do my plenum
  4. Shame you may have to sell, your car was coming alone nicely I'll be waiting untill next year to buy a house so I dont have to sell the Z to get a deposit. If you do sell though I may be interested in a few engine bay parts
  5. If your gonna do 2 tone do it top & bottom. CF or black hatch, bonnet, roof & pillars & then everything below that in standard colour
  6. You could also give Charlie @ Pro-speed a ring (02920461444). he quoted me around £700 for a custom true dual exhaust. I've had a couple of exhausts done by hime & his quality is amazing
  7. Thats the way I'm looking at it now, I did plan to sell it about now but its worth so little I may as well keep it and mod it some more
  8. Next meet is Monday 7th anyone up for it?

    OZ

    He wouldn't want a set of CE28s Get a set of TE37s
  10. +1 the screws for the heat shield took me longer than the rest of the job
  11. Its really stiff, sway bars make a huge difference to the stiffness. Theres 2 settings to the sway bar but we are not sure which setting its on at the moment (Instructions are all in japanese, just waiting for cusco to email me some english instructions )
  12. Only really needed though if you want a bit of extra bling. IMO the popcharger is the best value for money
  13. or you could get a popcharger for £95
  14. Halfords surface cleaner. I loostened the 1 of the 6 centre bolts at a time cleaning around them with a brush. Disconnected the air intake and all the rest of the lines etc... Plenty of masking tape and news paper to avoid overspray. Didn`t require any primer so it was quik to do. My plenum is sat in my garage at the moment so I think this may be a project for next week
  15. What did you use to clean it with? did you have to primer it first?
  16. Looks good I wanna do my plenum like that so a guide would be good
  17. Megane would be my choice Golf is a good choice, my mate has recently bought a new GTI & its quite nice
  18. Much much bumpier gonna fiddle around with damper settings one day next week & maybe adjust the stiffness of the sway bar to see how much difference there is
  19. I'll take a pic of the car, theres a few on here who might want a pic of you tho
  20. I may have a solution to that problem From what I can see the lowest part of my car is the silencer in my mid pipe & its this bit that is scraping. Gonna get the car into a custom exhaust place I use & get the silencer replaced with a straight piece of pipe. Will hopefully solve the problem
