Halfords surface cleaner. I loostened the 1 of the 6 centre bolts at a time cleaning around them with a brush. Disconnected the air intake and all the rest of the lines etc... Plenty of masking tape and news paper to avoid overspray. Didn`t require any primer so it was quik to do. My plenum is sat in my garage at the moment so I think this may be a project for next week

What did you use to clean it with? did you have to primer it first?

Looks good I wanna do my plenum like that so a guide would be good

Megane would be my choice Golf is a good choice, my mate has recently bought a new GTI & its quite nice

Much much bumpier gonna fiddle around with damper settings one day next week & maybe adjust the stiffness of the sway bar to see how much difference there is

I may have a solution to that problem From what I can see the lowest part of my car is the silencer in my mid pipe & its this bit that is scraping. Gonna get the car into a custom exhaust place I use & get the silencer replaced with a straight piece of pipe. Will hopefully solve the problem

IMO either the APS True Dual, GReddy True Dual or the HKS Hi-power. All 3 have been used on FI cars in the U.S

Its loads better Nowhere near as comfortable though. I think im gonna have to get it raised a bit, unless I go over speedbumps at 2mph my exhaust is knocking
