  1. Probably all stems back to when nobody would give him a free aerial
  2. How do you know that has spacers fitted? Could just be the right offsets Hellaflush - When the tyre is flush to the wheel arch, requires the right offsets & suspension setup Offset - The offset of a wheel determines how far it sits out or into the arch. The lower an offset the further OUT it will sit, the higher the offset then the further IN it will sit Air - Cars fitted with airbag suspension, allows for a car to be fully slammed. Stance - The way that the wheels & suspension sit against the bodywork. Again the better the setup the better looking stance you have Rolled arches - Pretty straight forward, the lip inside the wheel arch is heated & rolled to run more agressive wheels. Spacers - Spacers will push your wheels out further thus lowering your offset Camber - This is the angle that your wheels sit at - like / \ would be negative camber \ / would be positive camber Think that covers everything I would get pictures to show you each one but I'm lazy, maybe tomorrow
  3. Scangauge is dead easy to use & shows 4 different gauges at once. You won't get oil temp from an OBD reader but intake & water temps you will. I think my scangauge is setup at the moment to read intake temp, battery voltage, throttle postition & water tem (might be something other than water though) I might look into getting something like the R34 MFD, If i can get one cheap enough to play around with & then ditch all my Defis
  4. Depends what your planning on doing with it. Do you want something that just monitors in real time & clears codes or do you want something more in depth? I use a scangauge 2 in my car, cost me about £120 i think

    HKS S/C 350Z

If the rest of that road wasnt filled with potholes then I would have done a longer run at it My turning is fine

    HKS S/C 350Z

A few people have asked about driveby videos so I did one today Atleast from outside you can hear the S/C a bit And one of the exhaust. The sound is a bit distorted because I used a crappy camera, hopefully I can get a HD camera from work soon

  10. I think its only if you pay an individual with a credit card. If you pay a registered company with one then theres no charge
  11. speedbumps i can survive but yeah im thinking driveway just has to be an essential, i couldnt bear leaving the zed on the street, plus, i have two cars to park. If I get somewhere with no bumps then I could proabably drop the suspension a bit more
  12. I'm in the same boat as you, currently looking to buy a house. At the moment my search is focused on houses with a garage or atleast a driveway & there must be no speedbumps in the area
  13. Adam@z1, RHD Japan or Demon tweaks
  14. Offsets are not the greatest escpecially with them being so thin. In those widths I'd be looking for around a ET12-15 for the front & ET20 in the rear at the least +12 all round would be ideal
  15. Welcome to the single exit club I'm probably the only person who doesn't find yours that loud though
  16. Some people just like to complain about things Theres a good explanation on my350 from some traders about why they don't post prices, I'll see if i can find the link again
  17. I know prices change, but ballpark is better than nothing. At least i'll know if something is £1200 rather than £2200 like i said earlier. And ebay... i could browse it, and get my ideas, and then return in a month to make my purchase. Prices my have changed a bit but i can live with that, i just wont bother looking if the prices arent there... I dont understand what your argument is? As a customer whats wrong with knowing the prices of things?? Theres nothing wrong with knowing the prices of things. My argument is those that complain that prices are not posted when they have no intention of buying. It takes 30seconds to send a pm if you are actually serious about buying something.
  18. And its a question I hate being asked Ditto - its bl**dy rude Exactly. I noticed on a newbies intro thread recently the first reply was asking how much he paid for it I never tell people what I paid for things, I'll give a ball park figure but never an exact figure
  19. Prices change, you can get a ball park figure but prices will change from when your browsing to when your buying, especially if buying from the U.S/Japan. Even more change once you take into consideration the fluctuating exchange rates, delivery from abroad & customs. A quick look at the more common sites will reveal the ballpark figure Ebay scenario makes no sense to the argument here
