  1. Sorry chaps, its 45MB, bit big to email! Need somewhere to host it, I'll have a think about what I can do!
  2. Exactly that mate, i love manual settings, haha. Im the opposite, i can make something look good, but not sure on the technical side of it all, i just guess and play with it as i go along. we should have a chat about it as i would love to learn all the ins and outs of how the camera works I have a great pdf for the 300D (almost identical to my 350D) which expains a lot. Would prob be the same for the Nikons too. I'll see how big it is and see if I can email it to ya
  3. Louis: I guess this work was done with a tripod then? Long exposures with the lens wide open? I really need to get out and use my Cannon 350D more, I know all the technical bits, but need to learn to frame photos to look as good as yours!
  4. Well, I'm on the home straight now. Went to the dealers last night after a fair bit of faffing about with getting the car in. Its in amazing condition, no marks on the alloys or any real stone chips, very good for a 3yr old car. Went out for a test drive, all is well, no rattles and squeaks. Its one owner from new, always been serviced sligtly before it was required, history check is clear as well. No outstanding issues (TSBs). Does that cover everything? I've paid the majority of the balance now, just a few hundred to go on my credit card when I go in on Saturday, hoping the cheque has cleared with express clearance. I'm hoping they may write off the last few hundred quid, but its unlikely knowing dealers Attached a piccie for ya. Sorry for the poor quality, I had to convert them to VGA on my phone to get below the size limit.
  5. Nice one chap, looks good. Hopefully have a thread of my own come Sat, I gave the stealership a cheque last night, just has to clear (express clearance should do it )
  6. Yeah, I would say I wont willingly bid against another member if I know about it, but if I do bit then we will just have to let it take its course. eBay is open to everyone after all. I think it would count more for things that I am not too fussed about getting and that if someone else is already bidding I will stay clear.
  7. As Jacko suggests get onto the Telcos on a Busniess Plan. Telling them you are self employed will get you preferential rates and also preferential customer services. I told Voda that I was self employed to get the preferential customer support, which is dealt with by Team19 I am told All I know is that there is virtually zero wait to be dealt with Oh and remember to barter as well. They are open to offers esp if you start telling them that you are thinking of using them or another telco. New customers are very hard to get, they are open to manouver on handsets, free mins etc. Again, when I moved from Orange to Voda, I got an upgraded phone worth £150 extra and another "extra". I beleive you are given around 3 standard and can be used to buy extra minutes and txt or mobile tv etc. Hunt around.
  8. I agree bikers are far better with the nod. Doesnt matter what they are riding, you get a nod 90% of the time. Scooters are exempt of course, being powered by a hairdryer

Seems they have some nice CF trick bits. Might have to investigate
  10. Andy, do you have a datacable for it or are you using bluetooth to connect to it? I ask as if you use a datacable, you may find that although it looks dead (ie screen not working), you can still turn it on and get access to the memory via the cable. You may find you have only killed the screen and not the rest of the phone if you are lucky. Maybe take it to your local "phone man" and see if they can hook it up to any kind of cable/reader?
  11. 9 points and 21 Agreed, you're lucky they'll touch you with a Zed. Best I've had so far is from Admiral @ £750 - 24, 2yr NCB, no points, w/ 20k business miles. Not bad.
  12. I agree with Jacko, from what I've heard the kit extends out the front of the bumper rather than down if that makes sense. So you shouldnt have any probs. I'm sure someone with the Nismo kit will be right along
  13. Yeah tell Paul the salesman he's lost a sale over it, the blue Zed. He'll know what you mean
  14. Good job I never followed up my test drive at Slough then isnt it! Would have hated to have bought a Zed from them to find out that if I tried to make a claim against anything that it would likely not be looked at! Sorry to hear about your trouble, hope it gets sorted soon. A threat of small claims court will usually get things moving from what I hear...
  15. Buy it for me and I'll let you come and wash n wax it
  16. And weigh about 2000kgs! Carbon fibre roof (if money is no problem)
  17. That solves that dilema then! Anyone on here?
  18. Doesnt a copper have to catch you doing it anyway? I didnt know admitting to it was sucfficient? He didnt say which "private road" he did it on so who knows Glad its all sorted.
  19. I'm in no rush at the mo, thinking of waiting till the next model of something like this lilliput comes out with a faster processor in it. I am now not off to Hong Kong till August, so am sure there will be something better by then! I guess if you wait then as you say things will have moved on a bit. You may even find that there is a higher power model available now, just its not on eBay. I know my 900MHz PIII was too slow when I had that knocking around. I would say something around 1.3GHz or more would do it. As for the lilliput, I have a 619 followed by an assortment of letters (cant remember sorry!). That seems to be the defacto screen from what I have seen. Also heard good things about Xenerc, and also the LinITX screens. Lilliput I have found the cheapest on eBay so I went with that. My carnetix PSU arrived yesterday, got it all wired up to my lappy and Lilliput screen now. Running it in a chain off an old PC PSU to provide 12v DC to it and all seems good! Just need to config it properly. Once I get my Zed and power to the back of it from the batt I dont think its going to be too hard to get it all installed Will post a pic when I get home.
  20. Damn, if this one I have a deposit on at my local stealer falls through, I know who I'll be calling!!!
  21. I used to get loads of waves in my Leon by Cupra/Cupra R/FR drivers. Doesnt happen much now as they sold them all off dirt cheap so any larry can have one now, not those that appreciated it. I have to say I'm supprised that other 350z drivers dont wave back, I would have thought something as relatively rare as a Zed would get waves. I see a couple on my daily commute, I'll try giving them a or a flash of the lights and see if they respond. If you see a loon in a platinum Leon flashing and waving on the M4/A33 you know its me
  22. Nice pics guys. Shame I dont have a Zed yet, I'm itching to get out there!
  23. Yes you can. The Autoleads adapeter I got off eBay does both a 2xdin slot or a single din with cubby below. This one: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Nissan-350Z-stereo-fascia-plate-NEW-facia-fitting-kit_W0QQitemZ330109789358QQihZ014QQcategoryZ108815QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItem I would suggest you look into mp3car.com forums if you havent already, they have lots of advice on how to cut down XP into a slick running OS with a smaller footprint. You can also try nLite which cuts down XP, but I found it cut out things I needed. I did a normal XP install and then disabled services to get it to run faster as I run on a Pentium M 1.4GHz which is more than fast enough.
  24. That looks quite cool! Again it may be a bit underpowered at 1GHz, but seems a reasonable price for the spec I guess. Also watch out for the 2 small fans on the back, they have to spin fast to move air which means they may be loud. Have a look out there and see if you can find one, bet it will be a fair bit cheaper.
  25. Doh. I have managed to save a few panos with Photoshops stitch before with very little overlap as you can manually tell it where to join them, however the outcome would probably be less than desireable. As you say, stills from the video footage should work well.
