  1. Mabie So someone had to go back to work (Andrew - boooo!) leaving me and Amanda to it. Decided to give Mabie a go as its a short and sweet trail with good reviews. Top of the first climb And down again Black option is a lot steeper in real life, its actually near vertical Wee drop off - before this trip Amanda couldnt do them at all, now she can easily clear 2ft drops (better than a lot of blokes I know!)
  2. Kirroughtree After a quick spin around Glentress Red with Andrew the day before - no pics as it was slighly damp and he didnt give me time to stop and take any - it was time to head to the west and to Kirroughtree. Nice day for a ride! Andrew on McMoab rock Me following on RACE!
  3. Where to start - 12 days away in the bus and 6 days out riding, not bad when we had to fit LakeZ in the middle Glentress DirtSchool (JumpSchool) First up was to visit Andy from DirtSchool in his back yard after doing a course with him down south last year and Amanda making a great step change last time, it was definitely time to get her airborne properly. Amanda's first proper air! And again! Roll in Droppin in Getting a bit of air myself - rude not to
  4. Mine would hold it either way round
  5. Had a bit of a dig about and can see the IP being blocked a couple of times in the firewall but that was back in April and nothing in the forum software logs. Very strange one.
  6. Very odd the that iPhone and tablet using your net connection are fine but the PC is not. I would say the firewall may have banned your IP but this would stop the phone and tablet connecting Can you get a screen print somehow? If you need my email address just let me know. We dont use IIS so not sure why that is showing up, maybe IE thing. Screen shot will help
  7. This. I sent my exhaust with them and they were perfect. Far cheaper than anyone else.
  8. Make sure you get down to LakeZ Amazing a Cumbrian Zed owner you dont know Martin - you slacker!

  10. Just did a lap of Swinley this week, went and did a bit of Strava hunting to get the fastest of our mates http://app.strava.com/activities/60447557/embed/f6da7b0ad37c05ed4548ef15c51f5e89947c7ed1 Very rare these days but I also got a pic of Amanda at the end of one of the runs. She's usually too close behind now for me to get stopped and get the camera out!
  11. It can be arranged young grasshopper http://www.alpkit.com/hunka Can I not just drive the van up? I'll get some AT tyres One day I'd be well up for it just need to get somewhere for Amanda to stay while we do. What about late June next year

  13. Ok, ok......what's the most wanky hairdressers car that would be driven by a male middle management **** that immediately springs to mind Does it start with a 'T' and end with a 'T'? Talbot?! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talbot Nah thats too good a car for Ricey, and you wouldnt get a hairdresser in it!
  14. Is that some sailers weather forcast in code? Cant wait for this. We have a week up in Scotland first for some bikies, then down to LakeZ then a bit more bikies before home
  15. Ok, ok......what's the most wanky hairdressers car that would be driven by a male middle management **** that immediately springs to mind Does it start with a 'T' and end with a 'T'?
  16. When has the law ever applied to the Police
  17. You have to own up now or
  18. Yes but yours is a garage queen not a daily Mine used to do 75+ miles a day in all weathers including snow
  19. The handbrake is more than likely too small for the car, but if set up properly then it does work enough to hold the car without having to wrench it to the ceiling. My handbrake used to be adjusted every service by the local Nissan dealer to where I used to work, I very much doubt most places do this part and parcel of a service though. In my case it was because the Zed handbrake is known to be poor so they always checked for me. Still the OPs car doesnt sound healthy if it doesnt hold on the engine alone. Regardless of if other cars do it or not, my Zed used to always hold itself, so sounds like something isnt right. Abbey/Alex/CS/Jez should be able to comment/confirm me thinks.
  20. It will move forward/backward a little when in gear but it should be very obvious once the gears mesh and stop the car. If it doesnt that suggests to me the clutch is fubared. Are you sure you let it move far enough before the gears caught it?
  21. They need to define lane hogging. If someones up your trumpet they will get done for tailgating regardless of you lane hogging or not. If you are in the middle lane and the inside lane is clear then you are lane hogging, even if the outside is clear. What I dont understand is for what distance the inside lane is clear for before you get done for hogging. If its only clear for 50 yards then should you pull in just to pull out again? I would imagine they will do people who are clearly hogging it, ie 10 clear car lengths are free in the inside lane or something.
  22. And while you lot werent looking, the others were robbing up the unattended cars Looks like a hard life you are having there matey
  23. That's right, find out the Zed calendar then book holidays weddings and work commitments around our Zed lives. THAT is another form of Zeditus! Damn right Just so happens a lot of the Zed meets happen in great places to go biking too Mart: sure you have it all in hand, but remember we have the awning for the van so take up a bit more space than a usual largish tent and will need to be able to drive off site throughout the weekend as Mr AK is making us (possibly) go biking. And EHU which I know you've sorted
