+1, Them things were awesome at JTS Get one off ebay, can be had for about £75 good as new (new they can be upto about £300!) and far more fun than any mod for the Zed for £75! Taking mine to Modified Live for some club action Wicked, the hunt on ebay will start now , am i right in saying i would want a drifitng spec as to a normal ? Check their criteria now though bud, sounds like they want pure function over form. +1, Kevs would be in with a shout with the engine mods, just not sure if the aesthetics are what they are looking for.

Probably better for us. At JTS there was confusion over who was on which stand and we ended up having members in the wrong place or arriving late. Better we make our own arrangements so we can easily find out way to out spot

Yes it can be adjusted. Dont think its very hard, but does require the rear to be lifted up. I think its in the service manual. There are 2 adjustment points, one on the rear wheel(s?) and one in the centre arm rest. Someone better than me will describe the method, but be careful not to over tighten it as you dont want it slightly rubbing all the time even when its off!

Mark, this is also being sorted, with a Car Park big enough to accomodate about 75 cars... I know of a place locally, who will be helping... 75cars, looks like you have some work to do to fill those, wales was only 60 odd Means theres space for RC drifting

IanS16's would get my vote. Mild engine fettling, suspesion upgrades (I beleive), big brake kit on the front and a few external mods but no big body kit

Dont forget, its not just engine mods for the dynamics of the car. We should be looking at cars with suspension (coil overs) and big brake kits. Arguably they add more to the car than adding more power There is quite a lot more you can do to an NA car, just none have done it in this country AFAIK. Adam is a prime example of how NA can be done

Thats a drawback of running diesel daily. Ive lost count of the times thats happened to me. Then it gets on the steering wheel and stinks the car out. I think Ill invest in a few loose plastic gloves for the next one - its too late for this car. Most people I know that run Diesels as their daily driver have gloves for filling up in their boot. Saves having it all over your hands!

Yup, we already know you will only get at best about 20BHP in terms of max power, the gains seem to be mostly in mid range torque

I personally find it easier to get a nice thin layer with an applicator pad, but its horses for courses really. You look a bit of a nutter doing it by hand too

Polishing brings out the shine by flatting the clear coat (removing small scratches that diffuse the light and cause the hazy look). For the wax, use an applicator pad and wipe it around in the pot for say 5 circles (enough to get the top layer warm and pliable). Then lighly pass the pad over the car paint and it should leave just a really thin layer. The thinner the better as only the bottom layer will bond to the car, the rest will wipe off and is a waste. Leave the wax until it starts to become hazy and it should just wipe off. If it smudges when you wipe, leave it a bit longer, and if its really hard to remove, you left it too long. As with most things, you soon get a feel for how much to apply and how long to leave it

Its actually really easy to fit off a cold water feed for the washing machine. Get a Y-splitter from Wickes and tap kit, take off washing machine pipe, fit splitter, replace washing machine pipe, add tape pipe to other feed, screw tap to wall, and screw feed pipe to tap. Off you go, honestly took me about as long to do that as it used to take me to get the tap adapter on the old tap! And it used to pop off all the time! I hope you have a non-return valve in there somewhere - its a legal requirement that all outside taps have a non-return valve in line - the kits that 'cut' into the pipe have one built into the tap that screws onto the tap. There is a non return valve before the Y-splitter, but the tap isnt actually outside, I have it fitted under the sink as the kitchen is on the front so pass the hose through the window. Otherwise theiving scumbags would use my water and I'm on a meter
