Silly question, but what does the Axa paperwork actually say? Check the details out on that (ignore whatever Pru are saying and even Axa over the phone), because that's the contract you're signing up to. If you have any questions, get the answers in writing from Axa.

This. Of course they will tell you the competition isnt as good, they want to win your business. Get the details from both sides and see what they do and dont cover. After all how do they know what level of cover you are looking at from the other side?

At work we're with Pru and we found them pretty helpful. When Amanda needed a bit of physio, her GP refused to refer her at first, so Pru stepped in and made it happen.

Sorry I can't help noticing that everyone seems to be a clean freak when it comes to their Zed so will I be 'marked down' as I am setting off on the Wednesday before the meet from East Yorkshire, going first to Ludlow, then down to Swansea, back again to Ludlow before driving up to Wrexham on the Friday?

There will be plenty of clean freaks on hand to wash your Zed, dont worry about that

I'd take an X-Trail for a courtesy car for my Zed when I had it, does me. I would have made sure it had fuel though

When we HPI'd the van it showed outstanding finance and who it was with and their phone number. So when we went to buy it we called them up, paid the balance and the the rest to the seller. We both got immediate confirmation by email afterwards. That's the only safe way to do it

Im not sure where us JDM owners will fit in if there is a recall... NISSAN UK probably dont even have any record of us.

 

 

I would imagine that Nissan, etc would request a list of registered owners from The DVLA, which would include imports. Nissan U.K would only have a database of all the original owners and possibly those who've had their cars serviced at a main Nissan dealership.

Yes if you pay enough money and have the right reasons to access the data. Not saying thats what they will be doing but I expect they could if they want.

I'd expect import owners may been to contact Nissan Internation HQ and ask them for help. I cant see NMGB being interested or having the data available, I believe the VINs for UK/JDM/US are all different.

Better off investing in new mirrors, keep an eye out for all the numpties that will be on track with you!

 

I've tracked on stock brakes, they're fine. If the pedal starts to go long, just back off your braking a tad.

Glad you got it all done matey. One of the best mods I did to my 370z. Kit is a great bit of kit, well worth the cost. Better still Brian is a Brit so is more than happy to help us lot out on this side of the pond.

My Kenwood camera is waiting to be fitted into the van when I get some time. I now have an OEM fit Kenwood HU, so will plug straight in. Image quality is great, and works very well in low light levels.

Good to see the AA pulling their weight. I hope I never need them, but good to know they can do the business if needed.

They were never broken, but if you go look at the code, its nasty unless someone (read: me) creates it for you. You can use it as a template now if you like. I couldnt find an easy better alternative. I did say in the old tables thread that the old tags worked still
