I'm probably the most unfit I have been for the last 15yrs, so I think I'll pass! Weather has been dreadful down here for getting out on the bikes. Managed to get an hour on the road bike last night and am really feeling it this morning! Think we'll have to take it easy in Wales!

We are up to Scotland in Sept though, so will have a chat about our plans when we see you in Wales. Should get a few good rides in

On a serious note, please dont be put off if the weather reports are ropey. We've had members pull out before as weather was predicted to be terrible, and it did a full 180 and we had glorious sunshine and t-shirt/shorts weather! So please dont pull out if the weather looks to be bad, you have a very good chance it will change, even on the day!

My missus makes more difference to my cadence on the MTB than any sensor will On the road bike its very useful and stops be going at it too fast

Had a Garmin 800 since they came out. Have the OS maps loaded up on it as well as OpenMTB maps. Cracking bit of kit. I have the cadence/speed sensor on my road bike for it but dont use that on the MTB as theres no real point. Been trouble free for the whole time (sods law it will now break, but then I can get a 810!)

And WHO likes the PTFE tape on the JIC unions IT IS NOT NEEDED the connectors seal on the taper on the ends not the THREADS :teeth: :teeth:

 

It was me I love PTFE tape, I didn`t have enough to tape up Bennets loud mouth so used it on every thread I could see instead.

Bet you're one of those nutters that puts PTFE tape on compression fittings arent you, where the thread doesnt even make a seal

I assume you're running Super Unleaded in it and not normal 95RON from a supermarket?
