84 miles, good work sir
We're off to Swinley in a mo to sample the new Red route. Done the blue a couple of times on an evening to get our eye in again, so today we're going to venture onto the red. Expect it to be like rush our, it was manic last Sunday morning!

+1. When you're communicating from your workplace (which Hugh was) then it's actually the correct thing to do.

While I can appreciate that in principal, in practice I very rarely, if ever find I need to know someone's academic or professional achievements when there is no context - ie just a MSc, BSc at the end of a name - it has no relevance. I can appreciate it has a certain historical founding but as with Dblock, it winds me up these days because more often than not the person doing it is willy waving.

Most annoying for me at work is our switchboard puts bloody recruiters through to my desk phone. Because I used to be a contractor, they think they can pester me to get their guys in to the company for them, f'in cheek!
Don't get spam main fortunately.
Agree with Dblock too about academic titles.

Tyre replacement indicator. I think its worked out on mileage done by your tyres. You can set or reset this in you trip computer.
Go to sub menu Maintenance. On there you can set distance reminders to change oil filter/ oil/ tyres.
Hope this helps.
This.
I seem to remember there are a number of maintenance reminders you can set to certain milage/time values and it will remind you. Means it reminds you to check certain things like oil. coolant, tyres, etc. I'm betting thats what it is. On my old 370z I dont remember them being defined as certain things such as tyres etc, I just had reminder 1, 2, 3 and you had to remember what it was you're reminding yourself to check

Sold - thread locked at buyers & sellers requests

Had me worried then that the fettling had broken something
-
It's looking good now
Nice rescue on that - so have you bought enough tools while repairing the tool box to fill it?
Had a dream last night about buying every snap on tool there was and then having to sort it all out into a tool box.
Good work Jim, looking very smart now.

Search the word "plenum" or "Spacer" no results delivered.
Odd, I get like 5 pages of results. Where are you searching? You know if you're in a thread, then by default it searches within the thread - see on the right of the box it says "This topic" - click that, select "Forums" - and ye shall have results
-
Best to search within google for entries on the forum. For whatever reason the search function is still a little broken.
Since when? Works fine for me

right - never one to be demoralised or give up i've got something new to try for the weekend!
Got some alcantara type adhesive film and going to try and cover some of the larger exspanses of the dash for a luxury GT feel
Pictures of me sobbing amongst sticky back plastic on monday!
Hope its UV resistant, not like the stuff I got off eBay and used in my old 350z which faded in the sun

Would love to get a gtr, can't Get one here as they are 30k plus
Trust me, the cheap part of getting a GTR is the £30k to buy it. I could have had one at £30k easily but the running costs are mental.
