Thanks for the comments so far guys, keep them comming. We have no intention of trying to achieve a premium based on reputation, quite the opposite in fact. We have spent some time over the past months looking at what the dealers and traders buy the cars at, we have even looked at cars at other locations on behalf of members on both forums and have been shocked by our findings. Our basic principle is to provide a service to both seller and buyer, this should ensure both achieve a fair deal. At the moment the margin between purchase and sale is very significant and in our position unnecessary. We are looking to build a loyal customer base in terms of ongoing servicing and modification work, the profit margin on the car sale becomes less intrusive in this way. We have studied closely the cars 350Z buyers are moving from and these will be our main target area. We would hope to link prospective buyers who have no knowledge of us to investigate our reputation via the forum thus also generating a natural increase in the membership community.

A many of you probably know from looking at our temporary website and from visiting ESR we currently sell carefully sourced modern classic cars. We are looking to expand on the car sales primarily with the 350Z. We are aware there are plenty of importers/dealers around the country but not many who have the sort of knowledge we have strived to achieve. The basic question we would like to ask is, would knowing the car is being supplied by someone such as ESR and having undergone being checked through with a fine toothcomb and (hopefully) our good reputation behind it, prove to be of any value when selecting the right 350Z. There would aslo be the opportunity to have upgrades carried out prior to delivery at preferential rates. Your views would be appreciated If this is in the wrong section mods feel free to move it.

Got this bit wrong - he actually charges £30/hour but he quoted me on the job (£100) not on hourly rate. Just as well - took him 3 1/2 hours to fit clutch, and 1 1/2 to bleed the hydraulics after (thanks for the heads-up on that one Phil, much appreciated!!!) - Anyway - I gave him the £100 and offered a £20 tip, which he refused and apologised profusely for the time delay! - top bloke! - will definately use him again. If any of you guys live in South East (Maidstone way) and need a mechanic let me know and I will give you his phone number! Anyway - job done! - I just keep stalling the car at the moment!! - the clutch bite is much lower than before - also the pedal is so much lighter than before - but I will get used to it. Total Cost: New clutch and Labour - £356 - RESULT!!! Thanks again to Big Phil for supply and post sales support!!! Pleased it's all sorted Dave, thanks for the kind words.

Did you get yours yet Jay? Any pics of it fitted? I quite fancy one of these from ESR for £60 too if they are real carbon. Couple of questions though if anyone can help me out: - Whats the quality like on these items? - Is it just 3m tape that holds them on? If so is there any chance it might pop off or start to come loose after a while? - If you wanted to remove this at a later date - is it likely to mark or damage your paintwork? Cheers CHL they are real carbon, top quality and as with everything we supply if you don't like it you get a refund. 3M tape sticks really well and will remove without damage to paint.

How about a turbo kit Yes it is easy to go a step too far & there are people like the youtube guy in every community, but I dont think there are any people on here as dillusional as that guy. A set of wheels are a simple mod, easily reversible & trust me the red lip will attract the right sort of attention. Too many people play it safe IMO when it comes to the 350Z, most go for Nismo stuff (i'm not saying theres anything wrong with that) but modify YOUR car the way that YOU want it to look. If I had listened to most peoples opinions I would have never bought my Volks & I wouldn't have gone for a single exhaust. My sentiments exactly Each and everyone has their own tastes which is exactly what I have said to James all along, possibly one of the worst things you can do is ask for opinions because people will never agree otherwise there would be no modded Z's at all.
