  3. I always have positions available for Financial Services types
  4. if she didn't like the plastic back of the Cupra she DEFINITELY wont like the plastic trim ALL THE WAY ROUND the type S Guy at work has one in this colour.... lovely car apart from that trim Just looks low rent compared to the Type R imo I agree, but the one she's seen is 5 door. Plus she's found out that the Type-S is in insurance group 10 as opposed to 17 for the Type-R. The one were going to look at is diesel too. I don't know why she's so insistent on getting an economic car when its me that will be paying all the servicing and maintainence costs I might just find a Type-R to view, tell her we are going to see a Type-S and then hopefully she'll love it enough to convince herself that a Type-S is a poo idea
  5. The latest criteria shes mentioned is that it can't be any older than an 06 plate She is dragging me to look at a Civic Type-S tomorrow
  6. The point your missing, is that its MY money
  7. She buy whatever piece of crap she likes with her own money, but not mine
  8. I've seen a nice yellow 07 cupra that was very But the Mrs thought that the black lower bumper looked like "they forgot to fit a bumper to it"
  9. In the very first post it says NO estates
  10. I could just go out and buy one and turn up with it........but I may then need to live in it.....
  11. 3 Series is out as we have had an M3 and she is determined to get something that is not going to cost a fortune to service so BMW and Merc are out etc.... G35, she wouldn't go for it as she knows I'd mod the @*!# out of it and have a set of Volks on it in weeks Megane 225, hmm good shout maybe........gonna take a look....
  12. If you read the thread I've already said we had an M3 and the current A3, all had two doors and are absolutely fine
  13. No, your wrong about most things
  14. Ok, R32= Good idea but she hates golfs, thinks only chavs buys them and is sick of going to work and having to visit people who have had their Golfs nicked.................. Type-R= It would only be the new shape, I know they may be gutless and need to be revved to get anything out of it, but to be fair, its going to be my wife and kid tootling around in it so i don't think thats going to be an issue... RS4+ Sub £12k???? ST, Mondeo= Forgot to say I'd never buy a ford Leon Cupra= Great shout and 5 door too, but I'd want a yellow one and the Mrs isn't keen X5= I'd go with one of these but she seems to be on some sort of ECO drive, wanting a car with high mpg, low service costs etc
  15. Getting the kid in the back is no problem, as the M3 and our A3 are 3 door it is with the way the seat resets in the type R Ah ok, i'll keep an eye out for that then as I've never even sat in a Type-R
  16. Getting the kid in the back is no problem, as the M3 and our A3 are 3 door
  17. Right, the Mrs has finally had enough of the A3 and wants a new car So basically I'm after a new car for her and the sprog, criteria as follows: £12k budget Must have rear seats Mustn't be an estate Thats it We've had an E46 M3 before so no point suggesting one of them, she has her heart set on a Civic Type-R but I'm unconvinced but I'm open to suggestions!
  18. For less than £14K? Nice try Liam. It's going up for 17k Well when it doesn't sell at £17k, hit my PM button
