  1. saw this in geneva, much prefer the older one to be honest....
  2. No headlight washers............................
  3. Dear lord, I thought it was.............................
  4. That extra sticker on the back adds at least 10bhp That sticker looks scarily like an ///M badge
  5. Agreed. Nismo Big brake kit? Fully Nismo performance?
  6. I think you are being highly optimistic, borderline misleading. Mid 30's mpg or higher?????? Sure, if you cruise on the motorway and reset the trip computer, it will show mid 30's mpg. But a realistic conservative mpg will be about 24-26 mpg. Less if you only drive about town.
  7. Ricey & Carla, when you both want to post, do you have to ask the other for the computer and log in under your profile and vice versa
  8. 1) Forget Chipsaway. They do small individual blemishes. You will want all three panels resprayed, in the correct conditions, not on your drive 2) Try to speak to others that were there to find out if their cars were damaged, or at least get them to agree that they thought he was being a bellend. 3) It seems like you have been (don't take this the wrong way) a bit of a pussy. It sounds like you have been far too civil. Before turning up on his doorstep, I would phone him and tell him your intentions of getting a quote from a bodyshop which will be at his expense. If it was me, the guy would have left, knowing that in no uncertain terms, that he was going to be paying to repair my car. 4) Turn up at his house with your mutual friend and deliver the quote. If he refuses to pay, get a solicitor to send him a stern letter, it's amazing what affect these can have!
  9. If you need to convert it to LPG to afford to run it, you can't afford to run it. Buy a Golf TDI.
  10. That car is bog standard though. The wheels and the exhaust are worth £2k on their own in my opinion. I'd take them off, sell them for £2k, buy some RAYS for about £400 and then put the car up for £8k with a view to taking an offer or possible reducing it over time. You may also want to swap the bumper for an oem one also, to bring it closer to stock...I'm sure someone with a sunset would want that V2 bumper.

  12. Bullshit. Sorry but if drilled discs were more susceptible then you would see the premium manufactures reverting to slotted discs and not drilled. My drilled Brembo discs were fine and I never heard Paul complain about them cracking after he bought the car....... If Porsche et al put drilled discs on their cars then thats good enough for a zed.......
  13. The white thing on the centre console (I assume) is in relation to the big **** off tank of NOS in the boot that the advert seems to neglect to tell people......
  14. Who am I to argue with Google, but your missing the point. Cheap drilled discs > I'd avoid too. In fact, cheap anything, I'd avoid. Do you really think premium (Lambo and Ferrari) brands can charge £10k for Carbon Ceramics and afford to have the discs crack?? I'm sure Abbey and Zmanalex would advise you to steer clear of cheapo slotted discs or Nankang tyres also.......
  15. Probably stolen FROM the police station.....
  16. they use better quality discs like porcshe ones are cast and are hefty beasts. Most after market (not all) are cheaper and not made aswell. when drilled they lose the little bit of strength that they had. I put Brembo drilled discs on my zed (which Paul T subsequently bought) and had no problems with them. I'd suggest the problem is more with the brand than whether they are drilled or slotted............
  17. If drilled disc's crack, why do Ferrari, Porsche, Lambo, Merc et al use them????
