  8. limby, agree that the salesman is purely doing his job - he won't get paid if you buy an import, best to go somewhere that specialises in what you're looking for I'd say

    Help!

Hi mate, I'm 6'2" and have done around 23k miles and never had any problems. I regularly drive from Manchester to London, Coventry, the wales drive, Anglesey, Blackpool, etc etc all decent journeys plus with traffic can be 5 hours easily with London. You really need to have a good play with all of the seats settings and the height of the steering wheel, I tend to have the seat as low as it'll go, as far back as poss, but with the back reasonable sat up. The wheel one click up from the bottom setting, iirc. I'm sure once you get this right you'll feel completely different about the car. On the storage, have you found the big box behind the passenger seat? Plus the other cubbies I find it more than enough
  10. whats wrong with them.... (I have the same on my landing ) Oops - they are easy to keep clean (backs away into a corner) hide the dust I say Sorry mate
  11. And sorry forgot to add - a lovely looking place, shame about the carpets.......
  12. Nice gaff. Looks like value for money. yes it does but the most important thing for me is a low or no mortgage - the wife will choose the house, as always also the fact that in twenty years time, I think pensions will be worth diddly-squat Not a problem mate, I'm here whenever you need. Get yourself a car and sort out the roads and you can organise a drive out
  13. Well done Mr Frost indeed. What a motor
  14. Fantastic mate, we'll be more than pleased to welcome you into the fold - where you moving to? Am very jealous if you end up mortgage free, as you say a great benefit of moving north , the biggest one though is that we're much friendlier . Of course if you need anything at all, even some advice or pointers in the right direction I'll be more than happy to do whatever I can
  15. Mine sometimes goes back, now & again I have to adjust it when I get in. tbh I can live with that
  16. What have they quoted you Dorian? Send me a PM if you like, I'm a Mortgage Broker (if you need that sorting I'm more than happy to do it ). We deal with Conveyancers all the time, what I'd say is that you very much get what you pay for - if they're cheap the are for a reason, either they're very busy and you don't always get a great service or they're not very good. A decent Conveyancer can sometimes be the difference between a sale happening or not, all in my opinion obviously.
  17. Without a doubt sensible mate, the fitter she is the more problems it was gonna cause in your head, especially after you've both had a few drinks!! ir_fuel was bang on Its always a nice ego massage when you get offers like this but I'd say its best to leave it as that - an ego massage.
