  1. That is f*****g horrendous. LV trim over it - what the hell were they thinking? Trackies, hoodies and a Salford accent only when driving this please
  2. Agree with Tim, they don't look like oem items. I know the oems can be bought for £199, think from Holdcroft - and prob also MrF. Mike (M13KYF) has some, followed him over to the meet from Manchester and I'm gonna have to buy some, makes a massive difference imo
  3. I've often thought that MPs should be fitted with a "jacking point" (like the matrix) where when they have brainwaves like this they could simply be plugged back into reality. Hopefully at some point in the future somebody is going to be involved in running the country that has an ounce of common sense, is in touch (I'll even settle for slightly) with or has an idea that a real world exists and also has some balls. Sadly I don't think this day will ever come.
  4. shagga!!! Don't know about current times but 8 weeks seems about right, well worth it though
  5. AlliRR, enjoy your stay!! Get the Z bought, you won't regret it
  6. Nice moves Spill, good to see you're back on the road
  7. My missus could do better than that
  8. No mate (least not at the moment), I just happened to be chatting to him about something totally unconnected and it came up in conversation
  9. Normally on Sundays mate. Ok give me a few days and I'll find out (my mate's on holiday at the moment but back over the weekend).
  10. Depends on your view of expensive, plus if you worked it out as a percentage of time spent out there per pound I guarantee the track day would work out better
  11. Just been chatting to the guy who runs this site: www.ukcarads.co.uk and was very impressed with what he had to say. He tells me theres a big difference between his site & the likes of Autotrader, Pistonheads etc in that they advertise your car over 206 sites (including The Sun, Oodle etc) and next year is planning to roll out to Sky TV version too. Just another option for you, please note I have no connection with this guy, I'm not trying to promote my own or family/friends site - he's told me a fair bit about it and I was impressed but obviously form your own opinion
  12. TRACK DAY ....... nice and dry ... we ought to get one organised.. never been on one in a car, done plenty on 2 wheels though Anglesey is fantastic for the Z, coupla really nice straights and some twisty stuff. There's a company down there pretty regular that runs track days, have a mate who's very close to them, open pit lane sort of thing so you can get as many laps as you like. Plus they hire out Caterhams can find out when they've got some going on if anyones up for it?

I'm up for it but not this Sat, off to Coventry
  14. Hmmm, difficult to see where the truth lies. You've got conflicting info on the forum link but that said the guy who says he's just fitted one of the other things to his F430 probably owned the company (1 post and he's got a F430). Looks very interesting, I've got some marks on both my front & back bumpers so I might consider this, certainly seems a better option than parking sensors which give you those funny things all over the place
  15. Like I said to you on Sunday Tim, I don't know how you managed!!! I know boring to keep putting 200yards between me and Val out of every corner But 300 yards behind moi That extra 20 bhp eh I didn't see it make any difference
  16. What are the PS/XBox et el games gonna be like on that???????
  17. Like I said to you on Sunday Tim, I don't know how you managed!!!
  18. Its a bleeding shame it really is. I've got quite a big affection for all things TVR having lived in Blackpool for a good chunk of my life, seeing (and more importantly) hearing those things fly round places were the Police didn't really venture with their income generating hand held devices will be with me for the rest of my life! I can't help thinking that a lot of the spirit of TVR will be lost with this move and its obviously even more of a shame for anyone that this directly effects jobwise for example. Heard that the talks with the council broke down because the council weren't prepared to offer any incentives for TVR to stay where they were or move to a new site. Seems crazy for the council not to encourage businesses to stay, particularly when the town is crying out for it.
  19. Sorry late in posting this - haven't been in work last 2 days and internet was down at home (and I thought Orange were supposed to be improving the service!!!), anyway firstly a massive thank you to Jacko for organising one of the best driving days I've ever had It was a fantastic day and it was great to put faces to names, cracking food, the weather kept together and somehow we all managed to keep together (again, well done Jacko!!), most importantly there were no casualties. Great to be part of the roundabout incident, shame no pics. Well done to everyone for the shots too - they all look great. Gutted for the 2 Liams And thanks again for me cake!!!!! PS When's the next one???????
  20. I go there all the time, no major problems. I've had 1 issue when the car went in (caused by them) but they were resolved without too much fuss. All my warranty work has been carried out faultlessly and servicing is bob on, at a decent price. Ok, sometimes you're waiting around for them to take the car in/pick the keys up but they're a busy dealership & I think you've gotta expect that. Mine's back in tomorrow for another service and I wouldn't keep going there if I wasn't satisfied. Hearing some other horror stories of dealers I certainly think you could do a lot worse.
  21. Shame, but good luck to ya. Bleedin ex-mrs' - I'm still trying to sort crap out with mine too. Fingers crossed for ya mate Sounds like a common theme. My ex - Mrs is very friendy ............ at the moment Yep, just don't expect it to last
