  1. Keep posting Mike, I'd never find half the stuff you do and I've had a couple of bargains. Plus things like the stubby which I just wouldn't have bothered looking for. Great service Plus, as Dorian has already said, surely you're only going to pay what an item is worth to you anyway.

see I wasnt joking £50 / yard I'll have you know You're showing when it was bought mate, isn't it all priced per metre now???????
  3. Awww you get your car a Christmas present?
  4. Quite right mate , plenty of others too but I just can't be bothered.
  5. Look on the bright side mate, you've given your lad and his mate a great story!!!! Hope you're feelin better soon
  6. Wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong.
  7. I'm up for it, probably only do a couple of runs though but it'd be a decent day out
  8. Bloody ell, I had no idea! And in any business/industry they'd get the sack (certainly for a fair few of those offences) why should it be different for them?

  11. Happy belated Birthday Sarnie, well done on the time too lad
  12. No switch unfortunately mate, got to go down the sticky route
  13. Good idea, someone must have a helmet cam?
  14. Sarnie, its already a known fact you have no taste lad anyway - you fancy me you just can't admit it on a public forum
  15. Have had a blat in it and DSG is stunningly quick and v smooth, I'm not a big fan of any auto but I have to say that it does work well. The Quattro system is unbelievable, you really can chuck the car about on the twisty stuff and it very, very, very rarely loses traction, even with the ESP off. No idea on the sport or s-line - Jon's has neither. You're right about it being dull to drive though - I found it very sterile after being in the Z, but Jon says that he'd lose his licence in the Z cos it makes him drive like a joyrider. I guess like anything else its what you're used to.
  16. The A3 3.2 wouldn't be out of your range mate - you could pick up a decent 04 or 54 plate with around 30k mileage for under £20k. My mate bought his 04 with 20k on it last year for around £20k so I'm sure you could do better. Hey - you could even make him an offer!! Servicing pricey though. Personnally I wouldn't touch a Scooby or an Evo purely on the basis that I think they're proper chav mobiles - imo obviously. Plus you'll be doing oil changes more frequently if nothing else.
  17. Hey Chris - yep my car & my lady too. I was on the prog too - the very good looking guy who had big bags under his eyes that day!!!
  18. Zzzz...!!! Bet you didn't get too many of them zzz's last night did you? Ah well, good luck for today and enjoy
  19. Thanks Mike , I did think of that but would he be able to give me the serial number or the part number? Its the actual serial number of my unit that they're after
  20. GAP insurance can be had far cheaper and is a great thing. My bank offered me it for £90 when I arranged the finance. Bear in mind that your insurer will only pay the market value of your car at the time of loss (as any insurer will only be looking to indemnify you - ie put you back to the point you were at the time of loss, if they gave you a new car and yours was 2 yrs old this wouldn't be indemnifying you). Supaguard is a waste of money imo.
