  4. Wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong.
  5. Yeah, +1
  6. I'm up for it, probably only do a couple of runs though but it'd be a decent day out
  7. Bloody ell, I had no idea! And in any business/industry they'd get the sack (certainly for a fair few of those offences) why should it be different for them?
  8. I'm in definately!! 1. Beavis 2. Digsy 3. Ian 4. lomoto 5. The Stig (Sarnie) 6. M13KYF 7. TheMinel 8. AndyC

  10. Happy belated Birthday Sarnie, well done on the time too lad
  11. No switch unfortunately mate, got to go down the sticky route
  12. Good idea, someone must have a helmet cam?
  13. Sarnie, its already a known fact you have no taste lad anyway - you fancy me you just can't admit it on a public forum
  14. Have had a blat in it and DSG is stunningly quick and v smooth, I'm not a big fan of any auto but I have to say that it does work well. The Quattro system is unbelievable, you really can chuck the car about on the twisty stuff and it very, very, very rarely loses traction, even with the ESP off. No idea on the sport or s-line - Jon's has neither. You're right about it being dull to drive though - I found it very sterile after being in the Z, but Jon says that he'd lose his licence in the Z cos it makes him drive like a joyrider. I guess like anything else its what you're used to.
  15. The A3 3.2 wouldn't be out of your range mate - you could pick up a decent 04 or 54 plate with around 30k mileage for under £20k. My mate bought his 04 with 20k on it last year for around £20k so I'm sure you could do better. Hey - you could even make him an offer!! Servicing pricey though. Personnally I wouldn't touch a Scooby or an Evo purely on the basis that I think they're proper chav mobiles - imo obviously. Plus you'll be doing oil changes more frequently if nothing else.
  16. Hey Chris - yep my car & my lady too. I was on the prog too - the very good looking guy who had big bags under his eyes that day!!!
  17. Zzzz...!!! Bet you didn't get too many of them zzz's last night did you? Ah well, good luck for today and enjoy
  18. Thanks Mike , I did think of that but would he be able to give me the serial number or the part number? Its the actual serial number of my unit that they're after
  19. GAP insurance can be had far cheaper and is a great thing. My bank offered me it for £90 when I arranged the finance. Bear in mind that your insurer will only pay the market value of your car at the time of loss (as any insurer will only be looking to indemnify you - ie put you back to the point you were at the time of loss, if they gave you a new car and yours was 2 yrs old this wouldn't be indemnifying you). Supaguard is a waste of money imo.
  20. Words fail me they really really do. Theres so much I'd like to say on this topic but I just get so mad I can't speak - or type much! I think the first thing to point out is that all drugs are available on the prison black market so quite how they weren't getting any I don't know. Secondly who the hell cares if they think their human rights have been infringed? WTF!!!!!!! I was always of the opinion the the prison service was designed to deter people from committing crime. Until the places are made back into that then we're just going to have people quite happy to go in there. As has been stated before can you see Maggie Thatcher standing for this crap? No and the country has been in a far sorrier state since she went. Ming for Prime Minister!!!
  21. Quite right Tim . As Lomoto has pointed out the others don't work for the Z, he has obviously spent his own time & money in looking into this and (as I have met Lomoto) I have absolutely no doubt whatsoever that were the other nets to have worked he would be selling those nets at the fiver price you have quoted. Instead of pointing people to nets that wouldn't fit he has been offering nets that do work to members cheaper (and a damn sight cheaper than Nissan btw). NISMO, it would seem advisable in the future to not only read threads fully but to be absolutely certain of the facts before you start flinging accusations, particularly at members that contribute to the Z community and this forum more than you
  22. Hi all, could do with a bit of help please!! Does anyone know where the serial number is on the base unit that holds the bluetooth adaptor and, how you get to it? You may or may not know but my car has got a German unit in it, so whenever you try to use the voice commands you get a German woman speaking at you (which is fine if you understand German!). The garage I bought the car from are going to sort it out but to do it the parts dept have asked for the car to be booked in so that they can get the serial no off the unit. Don't ask me why and they can't answer it either - I think they don't quite know what they're doing or they don't believe me and think "its faulty". I've tried explaining to them I don't know how many times that the unit isn't faulty but if this is the way they want to go fair enough. My thinking is that if I can get the serial number it'll save me a day (or possibly more) in a Micra or a Note. Plus any days I can save by the car not going into the garage and having some 17year old spanner monkey driving it has got to be a good thing. Cheers in advance
