  3. Think you are a bit late - see cookiemonster's post above. But not all is lost - see here: viewtopic.php?f=33&t=26572&hilit=nismo+exhaust
  4. You have a different system up there though, don't you, with the 'for sale' being a starting point and sealed bids inevitably leading to much higher selling prices. My line of work tells me prices south of the border, and particularly in the SE, are on the move up as there is more movement in the house construction - i.e. greater confidence -BUT, until the banks/building societies start reducing their deposit expectations for first time buyers, it is a slow improvement.

  8. An elderly couple, Margaret and Bert, moved to Texas . Bert always wanted a pair of authentic cowboy boots, so, seeing some on sale, he bought them and wore them home. Walking proudly, he sauntered into the kitchen and said to his wife, 'Notice anything different about me?' Margaret looked him over. 'Nope.' Frustrated, Bert stormed off into the bathroom, undressed and walked back into the kitchen completely naked except for the boots. Again he asked Margaret, a little louder this time, 'Notice anything different NOW?' Margaret looked up and exclaimed, 'Bert, what's different? It's hanging down today, it was hanging down yesterday, it'll be hanging down again tomorrow!' Furious, Bert yelled, 'AND DO YOU KNOW WHY IT'S HANGING DOWN, MARGARET?' 'Nope', she replied. 'IT'S HANGING DOWN, BECAUSE IT'S LOOKING AT MY NEW BOOTS!!!!' Without changing her expression, Margaret replied, 'Shoulda bought a hat, Bert, Shoulda bought a hat.'
  9. Literally? Yep - and no panties to hand
  10. Good news - so did you go down any modding route or is it repaired to standard spec.

  12. There are a few given our only just over 4 million population, even if apparently we have the most car clubs per capita of anywhere in the world. * Pukekohe Raceway in Auckland (easy 300kms down the back straight for the Osca's and the extremely high hp cars). * Hampton Downs (about to open) 67kms out of central Auckland - basically half way between Auckland & Hamilton. * Taupo Raceway (Martinmac has one of our Z Tshirts) - which is half way down the North Island (2.5-3 hours from Auckland. * Manfield slightly north of Wellington (bottomish of the North Island). * Ruapuna in the South Island. Plus there are a number of Karting tracks and other smaller not official type tracks and Midget car racing tracks scattered around too, like this http://www.springsspeedway.com/. Had an idea that the airfield at Wanaka (our dream retirement destination ) was used as track? Great place to visit anyway and they have this http://www.warbirdsoverwanaka.com/
  13. I'm sure they won't feel homesick
  14. http://www.hksusa.com/categories/?id=1926 If you do an advanced search - put in 'delimiter' and the 'JDM' category, you will see there are several threads on the subject.

  19. Not sure where you are in SW London but well pleased with TGM at Fleet who fitted my Nismo recently. http://www.thomsonlocal.com/T-G-M-Sport ... yinfo.html Good luck with your search
  20. As gunmetalzgt indicates, are you sure the 'clicking noise' is coming from the front and not the rear -as there is a regular problem of 'clicking rear axles' - do a search on here. If it is that, it is not a major issue - more of an irritation but ZMANALEX will sort you out with parts if that is the problem. Otherwise, I presume its not somthing simple like a stone or nail in the tyre, or possibly a stone (or something) caught between the backplate and shield? As for your gearbox noise that sounds like it might be a clutch release bearing issue - again a known problem. Although they are known to rumble on tickover and low speeds (that's not a problem in itself), but the fact you have a loud noise at speed as well as when stationary does suggest its the release bearing breaking up, and/or possibly the clutch/flywheel is damaged. Is the clutch slipping - test in high gear and accelerate hard to see if the revs rise under load but the car does not respond equally.
  21. Nic Knowing from experience the sort of things you have been going through in the marriage stakes least we can do on here is to help keep your chin up and help take away some of the worries, especially as its people like you that make this forum what is - a great place to be. Yeah, sometimes might have gone a weeny bit over the top but you know in your heart it is all meant in the best possible taste (as Kenny would have said), speaking for myself or course. Now when's that party
  22. +1 ps: and whilst I remember, sorted out car washing area at Moreton Park Lodge...... with hose - all special requests honoured
