  1. Cheers Chris, happy to go with the flow. What time does that mean we need to meet by the M3?

  3. I don't have a KevKev or anything so I am happy to go wherever Chris fancies. Then I can blame him if we get lost!!

  5. The 3500 rpm was somewhat tongue in cheek..... They sometimes get another 200 rpm before the turbo ooomph disappears! With clever gearing and set up they have managed to get them to drive OK. The Euro 4 stuff is a load of claims that they are cleaner, from what I have read the cancerous gasses still get out and about. Gasses are harder to stop when going down an exhaust.
  6. If you want to start a thread about our war heroes then great, this isn't that thread. The reason MJ has got so much attention is because he had a career spanning 40 years, setting entertainment standards and making millions of people happy. He also ran charities and gave huge sums of money to others. Whether we like it or not, our soldiers are actually shooting another country's people. We should be thankful but it's not exactly going to create a worldwide out pour of emotion.... Princess Di didn't even sing songs but it went on for days. Just the way of the world. And they deserve it IMO.
  7. Thread tidied. Show some sort of respect, the guy hasn't been dead 12 hours.
  8. The fact is petrol burns more efficiently and CO2 in isolation as an emission isn't a problem - if we hadn't demolished all the trees around the world then they'd deal with it for us! Cause and effect - the most simple of principles but it seems to be the first thing forgotten.
  9. The best music video ever IMO - go here and click Smooth Criminal for the full video - awesome. http://www.michaeljacksonlive.com/video.php?vid=6#vid
  10. Check some of the medical websites and see how many cancer doctors drive diesel cars..... Kinda says it all. Articles like this all over the net - http://www.yourlawyer.com/articles/read/15831
  11. Completey agree. I have 8 tickets to his shows as I never got to see him when I was younger. I am absolutely gutted.
  12. How much and how much to keep em going? I had a Tamiya off road battery car when I was younger and the PITA was having to keep charging it.
  13. Its akways funny to see the look on a petrol drivers face when someone in a mapped diesel pulls away leaving them in a cloud of smoke Until they reach 3500rpm and have to change gear!
  14. Obviously hasn't taken off - must be flimsy as hell inside and you're not going to get your ICE in those doors!
  15. Thats a drawback of running diesel daily. Ive lost count of the times thats happened to me. Then it gets on the steering wheel and stinks the car out. I think Ill invest in a few loose plastic gloves for the next one - its too late for this car. Most people I know that run Diesels as their daily driver have gloves for filling up in their boot. Saves having it all over your hands! The garages all have gloves at the pumps - I used to have diesels and found them ok. But they are claimed to be clean as they don't pump out as much CO2. What they forget is they are cancerous!
  16. Check their criteria now though bud, sounds like they want pure function over form.
  17. Oh no mate thats not good at all! Looked like a cool motor there - bit of a stealth beast No, it wasn't. Luckily I took all the equipment out before it was stolen. As for a stealth beast, unfortunately not! It was a 1.9TD that had a good 150 kilos of ICE and other gadgets in it. It might have got going down hill but that was it! It was mainly dry weather cornering that it just stuck. Huge fun with it. I couldn't have anyone in the back or it was scraping time but it did get some looks and was in amazing condition.
  18. Not decided yet mate, if we want to make it so than we can
  19. Yeah, and that is the usual aim for the organisers, I just got the impression this was a bit more of an open movement place. No worries either way, I'll be there by 9
