  1. Cheers mate, will see what the timings look like Where have you heard the 9 am piece from? I've had a note saying 'anytime from 7.30'.
  2. You can get some of the steering wheel controls to work yes. I'd recommend an Alpine unit over the Kenwoods, but they'll do a job
  3. I will be going the same route. Meet at the Bracknell / Woking junction?
  4. I think you'd be best off seeing if there is a member nearby that could help out or even test drive one from a dealer and drive it to your place and see if it fits... Turning circles, suspension movement etc all make it an art rather than a science. I can drive onto my parents drive by coming off it I crunch my front bumper.
  5. H5

    washed n waxed

The lad is taller than some of the owners on here though! Looking good bud
  6. My last car I cared about.... Then had the wheels powder coated Then it was stolen when I was burgled Got it back, minus the wheels. I already had the Zed at that point though.
  7. I will have to confirm nearer the time. Weekend before the stag do!
  8. I was going to post pics of mine up, but I don't think at any point I have been compelled to take any!
  9. Agreed. MrLizard can 'add' no interior, AP brake kit all round, racing seats etc....
  10. 8:30-9am suits me. I would probably go closer to 8:30, but Amanda will vote 9am, so why not 8:45am? Sounds like a plan. What route are you going? Then we can meet up with Darren and the others outside the event.
  11. You know what he means Mark! What's the breaking ranks bit??
  12. Dont forget, its not just engine mods for the dynamics of the car. We should be looking at cars with suspension (coil overs) and big brake kits. Arguably they add more to the car than adding more power There is quite a lot more you can do to an NA car, just none have done it in this country AFAIK. Adam is a prime example of how NA can be done Agreed. So that would be the likes of IanS16's. In fact, just thought of one other that has gone pretty far..... MrLizard.
  13. We can get there anytime from 7.30am. I will probably look to be there for about 8.30 - 9 so that we have a presence from early on - what time do you want to meet mate?
  14. Good job Sarnie hasn't seen this thread. He's the sorted of tool that would make a nob joke.
  15. Either that or NA work around intake, plenum etc. as there isn't much else to do!
  16. I agree. From the sounds of it it's not the bodykit that will get it there, it's stuff to improve the dynamics of the car.
  17. That's correct. But you need a PAC ROEM adaptor to get the BOSE amps to work with an aftermarket headunit as the BOSE input level is odd.
  18. No brake dust on my wheels mate clean inside and out. Rob, i managed to change my indicator bulbs last night to the silver ones like yours, i did manage to do it on top of the light unit but what a pain as i dropped a bulb inside the engine which took me 30 minutes to find it Just pulling ya leg mate That was my only mod for Wales as well! I dropped a bolt onto my undertray and I just cannot find it!
  19. We have a spot for 6 so I won't know until the day. More than happy to add you on the day is possible. Those that are coming, it looks like the tickets on the day are £20. We will sort out crediting people back with a club discount after the event.
  20. Looking good - now get that brake dust off the rest of your wheels. Go on, get your hand in. If there's no blood from scratching your hands on the brake disks, you just haven't done it properly!!
  21. Ooh, Ian, your car has had all it's ESR engine mods done - would be a classy cover car. Good to see the club's members jumping at the chance to get the name out there
  22. All bar maz e-mailed with your gifts. Let me know if you haven't got them please.
  23. Welcome Davey. There are a couple in Scotland with turbo / NOS but they are also heavily modded. Albeit one that is modded purely for making it go silly fast! I am sure you'll have some good ones to choose from
