  1. Am pleased you had a good experience at the dealer. The technical guy there was very good with me. Just a shame the service manager should really be sat in a Snap On box on wheels...... Agree re: Redstuff, I love mine. Will have to try this oil me thinks.....
  2. The car comes with a 3 year warranty, and an extended warranty doesn't cover them. So I'm not sure where the 5 year warranty has come from? That's why I've had the issues I've had. The way NMGB work it is to take your wheels off and provide you with new / refurbed ones that come from NMGB's preferred supplier. I'm not sure what I'll get but will let you know. Either way, they'll be being watched closely for bubbling. IMO, I'd possibly prefer those refurbed in the UK, as it's cleat the Jap new ones have questionable quality.
  3. Just caught up with this, so sorry to hear it. We've got insurance claims coming in here all over the place from the weather. Not much room for planning for it. Hope it sorts out, keep us up to date.
  4. Yeah, I know, but if they're keeping the shell the same it would be a strange move to change the name. Although who cars of 370Z sounds rubbish, if it's got that much power I'll be in the queue!
  5. Why 370Z? If it chucks out 350bhp I can see the 350 bit staying in place.

    Lomotos new car!

A mate has one, albeit with contrasting interior to the blue exterior. Rear room is shocking for size of car, but very comfy up front. Sounds like some women I know but anyway...... Carbon fibre pipe Tim??
  7. Does anybody have any first hand reports on these? And any pictures of them fitted with standard wheels? Cheers.

    Fat wheels...

That's the car that was parked at work a few weeks back but no one owned up when I said I'd spotted it.
  9. So if polished then I'm in.
  10. The Zed engine bay is quite well 'sealed' and where it would be the is little to tarnish it. If you wiped it over when you cleaned the car I reckon it's stay looking pretty cool. What is it made from Tim? I don't want it so heavy my car starts handling like and Audi!

    land rover parts

www.partsgateway.co.uk Always good for parts as the bring the nations breakers together and often have the parts on the shelf.
  12. ...... but ask them to sit in while you do it. Otherwise they'll be 'roadtesting' all day!
  13. So today I got the phone call confirming 100% compensation for replacing the wheels! Unfortunately this means I can't have the bright silver bit done at the same time, but will have to get wheels through NMGB's approved refurb plan - at least that's what I've been told. Much thanks to Mary at NMGB who seems to have some common sense. Just need to get to the dealer to arrange it now......
  14. I did notice a difference when I did my rears. Will have to order the fronts now to get the full effect!
  15. In the same magazine (apart from the vary cool range of covers) is an add for the 07 car - what do people really think of that bonnet?? I can't decide!
  16. Go for it Sarnie. If you can afford to get yourself into one, and still have the lifestyle that supports it then perfect. Don't wanna be rolling up to the Beefeater in it now do you!!
  17. Aren't these the people that voted the Corsa CotY??? Need we say more?!

    Fat wheels...

Sounds good. No purple base coats or anything like that then??

    Fat wheels...

Is it just me, or does the front wing of that car seem to be a different colour to the rest of it?
  20. I'll have a go at anything that tries, provided the conditions and areas allow. Town centres / residential areas / schools or anything similar are race tracks for those who shouldn't be allowed to drive. Having had a mate wheelchair bound with barely any control over any of his body at 11 years old, I've seen the effects first hand. On a motorway, country roads I know (night time especially!), sweeping links of roundabouts (A43!) then I will have a play. If people start weaving through traffic, I stop. If they start messing about, I stop. If it's all good fun and just seeing how things fair in petrol and rubber, I'm ok with that. In answer to the question, the most fun has been Mini Cooper S GP Works, and Lambo Gallardo Spider and a 911. With varying results. All did end with a smile and a thumbs up.
  21. Azure Coupe on the M4 between Maidenhead and Reading at about 7.40 this morning. Sunset Coupe with Nismo (looked very very !! ) on the M4 heading towards Reading at about 7.45 this morning. 05 plate GM roadster, lady driver, started following me at the Crooked Billet roundabout this morning all the way into Uxbridge. I was looking ultra cool in the Volvo in front.
  22. I don't disagree with you Tim. But that was OTT.
  23. Each to their own, if you want to put it on your car then fine. If not, then don't. I don't think people should be berated for not putting it on their car!
