  1. I thought the catering was OK. Not cheap, but alright, except they ran out of hot chocolate at one kiosk! My brother is building a video from the stuff I took at the event. When it is done, I will put the link up.....
  2. Not quite mate! The Elise has about 5 panels full stop. Front, back, doors and sills. So the rear clam shell is about a quarter of the car....!
  3. Welcome to the site. Check tyre pressures and fluid levels but it is heavier than your normal saloon car.
  4. Well I'm not too jealous!! Lovely car. For the wheels, take them off and put two coats of Chemical Guys jetSEAL on them. Either that, or AutoGlym Ultra Gloss Protection. Both are semi permanent coatings that will provide a real barrier that bonds to the wheel and lasts months.
  5. It was a god day, but fecking cold!! Schuey was awesome, and at one point Piraulx looked like he might be able to challenge him. Button wasn't useless either! McRae tribute was moving, and well deserved. If the weather was slightly milder, it would have been a good event for all.
  6. She has never been at fault Bronzee. 3 of the 4 times, the car was stationary. Twice in car parks, and this time at the end of our drive. The drive is double length. The other time was on a slip road when a 40 ton truck hit it. Each time, it has been the rear clam shell getting mashed. This time it is the driver door AND the rear clam shell. So I think it is fair to say it is an unlucky car??? It should be repairable Louis, we have a letter of admission from the people who did it, I was going to put it in for a front end respray anyway so will get a quote soon.......
  7. 2 lorries, one 4x4 and one people carrier now. I think that means it's going now.......
  8. .....because when you stop, you have hit it. Again. 4th time in two years. Lady over the road has reversed into it. Door and rear clam shell this time.
  9. I'm going, got £75 tickets so dunno where that mean I sit! Am heading up earlier to get some food closer by in a pub. Anyone else heading up (down!?) ?
  10. Will be there tomorrow, looking forward to it. Anyone else going?

    R35 or R34

Old 'um is becoming a classic shape, like the Impreza P1. Prefer the GTR 35 though....
  12. I'll try and be there. Booking the car in to see my old friends next week.....!!
  13. Well presumably it should be rescheduled to another date in the New Year when we're all doing another show. Donny maybe?
  14. The show was never organised so there hasn't been a central point for us to meet to compare..... And to say I've had supply problems for some of the bits is an understatement. I started mine in May and still haven't got some of my bits ordered back then! But it is still in progress......
  15. Weird, when I went to Geneva the savings weren't that good. Must have been looking in the wrong place. They weren't in Geneva. And it was 5 years ago. The only reason I know is I had mine stolen in a burglary last year. I found a replacement online and TAG informed me I couldn't have it as it was unauthorised. It wasn't even in their interests as it meant they gave me more money than it wouldhave been online....
  16. I think this lot and the FA must be in some sort of warped competition.....
  17. TAG don't authorise anyone too sell over the net, so be careful. Getting one direct from the US / Switzerland is best. My parents bought 3 when they went to Switzerland and the amount they saved on them paid for their holiday!
  18. Having watched all the build up, interviews and clips, I hope Hatton samshes him into next week. Mayweather comes across as a complete tool, and Hatton has rarely been the favourite going into a fight. He still hasn't lost in 43......
