  1. No probs, Ive updated the information on our website too as it wasnt clear enough as to just how special it is. Japfest 2 : I dont think so but we will definately be at JAE, we are supporting the show and shine competition as well as having a trade stand etc. Thanks Andy
  2. Hi, Just noted this thread from our webstats, hope OK to respond to clarify the points raised here Kleers carbon UV Protector is not a wax or temporary solution to UV, its a permanent fix to your carbon parts which is applied only once to give the full protection. The little 50ml bottle is enough to coat a whole bonnet. The product is applied in 3 stages (DIY) and penetrates the surface of the gelcoat to give the protection, it does not lay on the surface like a wax or polish however it does not change the surface or prevent waxing in future. Once applied it lives within the gelcoat with no visual difference. Many manufacturers of carbon apply a certain percentage of UV protection in the products when they are being produced, some dont. Even those which do, there is only a certain level of UV product which can be added to the gelcoat mixture. Its quite common for all the cheaper and ' great priced ' carbon gelcoat parts not to have UV protection installed owing to their very nature, as noted when you look around the event paddocks and its easy to spot cheap products from well engineered ones and all those yellowing carbon parts. The Kleers UV gives protection for those that dont have it and a top up for those that do. Essentially if you are into buying cheaper carbon parts, this will help make those parts look better for longer or preserve your high end parts. The product is priced according to the contents, the chemicals which make up the product are very expensive to start with. As you will note with the rest of the Kleers range, the pricing is very good. This product demands a higher price as a result of its make-up to battle UV, its not a gimmick. Its completely unique to our range. Hope the info is helpful, feel free to ask any other questions FYI we will be at Brands Hatch next weekend ( Modified Live Show on 27th ) with a trade stand and our full range on display- we supoprt the Show and Shine comps. I am aware some members of the club will be attending so if you are, come up and say hello. Kleers is also used by the Nismo Sumo GT1 GTR team as you will see here : http://www.kleers.com/section.php?xSec=8&xPage=1 The GTR's will also be at Brands. Thanks Andy Kleers Products Ltd
  3. Hi all, We have a newly built VQ35 ( early version ) engine for sale as pictured below ( from Nissan 350Z ) It has just ( literally ) been built by HKS and was intended as the spare engine for our Pink Z. We've never needed it and it was in build as a back-up at short notice so the engine is now for sale as the 350Z will also be for sale shortly. The spec of the engine is that is completely standard inside EXCEPT, HKS conrods and HKS pistons. Its 8.5:1 compression ratio and designed for a turbo or supercharged application ( as per our pink car ). We have run our pink car on the exact same spec engine for 2 years at 504ps without engine failure or any problems whatsoever. This engine is not suitable as an N/A application, its specifically for a forced induction application. All bearings, seals, gaskets and chains have been replaced of course using genuine Nissan parts and it will require a run-in period as with any new engine. What you see in the picture is what you get, it comes without a plenum and also requires a left side cam cover. We have some other bits and bobs that we could dig out if nessary such as headers etc if they were needed with the sale. HKS do not build engines for just anyone and therefore it is rather special to have such an engine available for sale, particularly one with such proven form. The engine does not come with a warranty as it is sold as a race-item. It is built for mileage not frequent rebuilds however its new owner should be aware of the fact we do not guarantee the engine's life at all. The price of the engine is £7000.00 GBP and resides at Sumo here in Kent. It can be delivered if not too far away or collected in person, we would not send it by courier. 4. Hi As per the title, another awesome moment, making it the 2nd Sumo car to be presented in the Japanese Hyper Rev books and again the only UK cars to do so ( FUUJIN appeared in the last GTR book ). This time the Z appears in Volume 122 ( the Fairlady edition ) and is presented as a Do-Luck car. Picture scan of the feature : Dead chuffed and thought you's may wish to see it too Andy
  5. The first of the adverts was out in Japan recently in Revspeed mag, I scanned it up as below : 1 month to go! Andy
  6. The cars have now left the UK and were shipped out last week, update on the Time Attack site here ( including my Sumo 350Z ) : http://www.timeattack.co.uk/tsukuba%20e ... update.asp Andy

  8. Hi, Was the finals of Time Attack at Brands this weekend and we entered our 350Z again. This time Mark Lemmer was driving of www.barwellmotorsport.co.uk and we finished in 7th place. Sad not to see any support from the club for our car or that of SVA Imports who also re-engineered thier driftcar to participate in the finals but some pictures anyhow ( but and paste to view : http://sumopictures.sumopower.com/TA%20 ... inal/1.bmp http://sumopictures.sumopower.com/TA%20 ... inal/2.bmp http://sumopictures.sumopower.com/TA%20 ... inal/3.bmp http://sumopictures.sumopower.com/TA%20 ... inal/4.bmp http://sumopictures.sumopower.com/TA%20 ... inal/5.bmp You can see more info : www.timeattack.co.uk and visit Round 4 reports and pictures. Hopefully next year we can look forward to some support on the day from the club and seeing our Z's in action on track and at an event thats real-life ownership related. Roll on next year. Andy
  9. Another new product from HKS, quite a nice one too, HKS have released thier ' Premium Induction ' kit as pictured below. Available for the 350Z its priced at £ 275+vat and is in stock now. Not used by any UK tuner yet as far as we know, brand new and a bit snazzy.. untested on the dyno yet to see actual figures but usual HKS standard fitment/quality and power expectations. The kit is designed to be used with your original airbox and consists of the hard pipes to the airbox, (replacing the rubber ones) and comes with the HKS Hybrid Filter which goes into our original airbox ( as shown ). Picture : Picture of the element that goes into your airbox: Limited availability, be quick to get yours. Cheers Andy
  10. Hi, We now have our 'Sumo Power Hercules' 350Z for sale as it has completed its promotional tour. This car is very special. It started life as an imported Fairlady from Japan and was built in house at Sumo in 2004 after being commisioned by EA Games to build a real street racer. The car featured the very first HKS Supercharger kit outside of HKS as well as the new Do-Luck bodykit which was actually designed for this car ( and is now commercially available as a product ). During its life so far it has been on an extensive tour of Europe and has featured on front covers of various magazines all over Europe as well as countless features inside magazines. It was the promotional car for the Need For Speed 2 and Need for Speed Most Wanted games in 2004 and 2005. As well as this in 2005 it was famously driven and tested/owned for a time by JK of Jamiroquai ( you can see pictures of this below) and has now returned to the Sumo stable having done its job. We have a full history of promotion with the car as well as many pictures of all the things it has done so far which make a really nice keep-sake for someone. The car had done 5000kms when we got it and has since done only 1000 miles in its modified state, most of which have been done taking the car to shows or doing photoshoots/demos with JK etc. As the clocks are Nismo, they currently show only the 1000 miles since the conversion. The car is mint condition and like new. it still has some stickers on at this time but can come without them so I have shown some pix with no stickers for you to see. The basic spec list is as follows ( engine power is 365bhp at the crank-dynod) Sumo Pearl Purple Paint ( Special ) Do-Luck Front Bumper ( With Undertray ) Do-Luck Rear Bumper with Carbon Fibre Lower Lip Do-Luck Side Skirts Do-Luck Carbon Fibre Rear Wing and Stays Do-Luck Carbon Fibre Lift-Up Bonnet Do-Luck Double Six Wheels HKS Supercharger kit ( Intercooled and oil cooled, additional fuel injectors etc ) HKS Hipermax II Suspension kit HKS Carbon Fibre Engine cover ( Supercharger version ) HKS Titanium Tip Stainless Exhaust System ( Dual outlet ) HKS D1 Oil Cap HKS D1 Radiator Cap HKS White Chrono Meters and control box ( Boost, Oil Pressure, Oil Temp ) HKS FCon S ECU Nismo 300Km complete speedo and rev counter cluster units AAR Racing Seats and seat mounts ( Paris Dakar Wide Type ) Teamtech Racing Harnesses and eye bolt Kenwood CD Stereo Unit Stock Strut Brace Chromed by London Chroming Co Ltd Alcon 6 Pot brake kit with 355mm grooved discs Pagid 421 Brake Pads Custom Goodridge Brake Lines Greddy Oil Filter Sandwich Plate ARC Titanium Radiator Cooling Panel Sumo Power One off Nissan Badges ( EA Design Castrol Oil 10/40 Castrol Brake Fluid - RBF600 Castrol Coolant Samco Radiator Hoses Toyo Proxes T1R Tyres The car cost over £60000.00 to develop and build in 2004 as many parts we pre-production.
