    Alpine audio gear

I've got a few bits of Alpine audio equipment for sale. The Zed is having some work and I am experimenting with something else. A brand new multimedia manager from Alpine, part of their current line up, that I never got round to putting in my last competition car. Hence, this is up for sale. Please note, this is the box that does AND the box that controls. Part numbers are:- Alpine PXA H701 multimedia manager - http://www.alpine-electronics.co.uk/ind ... d=pxa-h701 Alpine RUX C701 controller - http://www.alpine-electronics.co.uk/ind ... d=rux-c701 These are top pieces of kit, that manage all aspects of your system, and can fine tune sound to deliver trophy winning sound if needs be! Combined retail price of over £700. Sensible offers please.... Also for sale is my old competition head unit, an Alpine CDA 7998R. This has exceptional CD playing ability, and helped me to several trophies. This is in great condition. http://www.dealdigital.co.uk/contentite ... ntid=42921 http://www.carreview.com/mfr/alpine/cd- ... 61crx.aspx (Just to give a view of looks when the face is out, and the comments about the quality of the unit). Retail price of £900 when new. Again, am open to offers. I also have available a 6 CD multichanger to go with this - http://www.alpine-electronics.co.uk/ind ... d=cha-s634 - yet more offers! MP3 capable etc etc.... Pictures are available for those that don't know me! Any questions, please ask, or PM me. Cheers.
  4. Apparently it is hit and miss as to whether it does. Some do, some don't. That is the limit of my technical understanding!
  5. It is all acidic and will eventually cause damage. Regular wipe over will see you right!

    Rear spat or bumper

Not sure about something just being screwed to the bottome of the bumper.....
  9. Which ones? I can see Evolves in 19". http://www.ultralitewheels.com/ulgri/ul ... -guide.htm Either way, I am guessing it is NISMO's or the Rota's and Teins. Anyone any ideas how much the Tein set up is?

    Rear spat or bumper

    I like this one..... http://www.bulletproofautomotive.com/ca ... hp?ID=3623 Sarnie's one looks pretty too.
  11. Much more than that....... They normally put a small sticker in the windows too......!!
  12. Yeh they do, they do 19" and 20" wheels only in certain types though According into their fitment guide, non of those are for the Zed....
  13. Had a look on Ultralite's website, and they don't seem to do 19's either!
  14. I would keep the rolling diameter the same with whatever profile tyres would be needed. If anything dry weather handling may well improve, albeit ride comfort compromised a bit. Plus, by playing with pressures you can change the feel of it.... Ideally, I'd love a set of OZ Superlegerra split rims, but they are looking like costing £k's, and I have a car to save up for!! I would keep the 18's should I venture out onto a track / resale anyway. When I saw the NISMO wheels with tyres from Phil for £1,700, I did get thinking though!! What are these Ultralite wheels you speak of?
  15. I had a look on their website last night, lack of 19" is going to be the problem.....

    Filter cleaning

Hi all, Have done a search, but no real definitive answer came up. I have an Injen filter, and am sure the thing needs cleaning at some point. Anyone any ideas on what, how and when it should be done? Cheers.
  18. And the 3.5 V6 just isn't doing it for ya?? Nah, needs to be at least 2 tonnes, preferably 2.5, and 8 cylinders or more. MPG in the low teens and lots of carbons into the atmosphere. This ought to do it..... http://www.mccullagh.org/photo/10d-20/m ... ummer-xbox Can also get yourself an ASBO while croozing with the tooons!!
  19. OK, so what's the difference between these Rota's and the NISMO ones?
  20. Yep, take it back and tell them to move it! Poorboys stuff will do the trick, avoid any wheel cleaner after that, water all the way.
  21. Not on it's own, no. But the DVD player and other capabilities (plus a mate working for Sony! ) would. What Sound and Vision recommend it as a DVD player alone too. Only thing that could be questioned is the sound output.
