If you have a jack and wheel brace and a few tools, you can change them yourself in no more than a couple of hours.

Regarding the cost of the Rays, I have a copy of the invoice from NMGB to the dealer for my full set of replacement Rays under warranty. Lets just say there is a fair amount of profit in it for them.......

Good to hear and welcome to the site. A relative has a very sorted Griffith 500 (TVR Car club mag cover car etc.) and know what you mean about the feel. As has been said, the clutch judder is nothing to worry about too much.
