There does seem to be few if any gearboxes from 05 onwards that have had the syncro issue. If you went for the latest you could find you should be alright.

It basically involves buying a roll of Dynamat Xtreme, and then removing the BOSE sub from behind the seat. You will then see an enclosure that has holes all over the place. Use the Dynamat to seal those holes and cover the enclosure - voila, a sealed box that is also sound deadened.

That's not too bad a price bud, you won't get decent rear tyres for much less than £120 each anyway so by the time they have delivered them.....

Dynamat does it's job again. The difference between something just chucked in and something with time spent on it is amazing. Need some pics bud!

Clean and shiny do a wheel Wash Shmitt but it doesn't have a handle, goes over your hand. Only other option is a homewares place that does the washing up brushes with the sponges on the end.

Nice unique mod Paul. Another +1 on the not copying Audi. You may as well put Lexus style rear lights as well - leaving it different helps it stand out IMO.
