Hope you don't mind me jumping in here Rob Just to let you know set-up is now Thursday with the show proper starting at 10am on FRIDAY (note this is NOT the bank holiday weekend). Friday night we have an Oasis tribute band doing two sets and also a disco all night Saturday is the usual activities of Shw n Shine, Tug of War but this year we've also added Its-a-Knockout, 5-a-side football and a lot more besides. As well as that there are zip wires, climbing walls and even a motor boat with a giant inflatable attached! Yep lots to do Hope you can all make it Not at all bud! Is there a flyer going to be produced etc?

Why does having 9000 posts mean he's unlikely to torch his car? or not have financial difficulties? He could have all sorts of loans to pay for his cars. All I'm saying is that If iwas the insurance company I'd be investigating his financial stability and would be looking to get out of the RS4 payment...... I didn't just refer to post count. I listed a pile of things that together make this look, to me, like the guy has been done over. There is an eye witness, so if there is anything dodgy then the police will have a chance to weedle it out. Would've thought on a car forum there'd be a bit more compassion for the guy!

If you look at the daytime pictures, there are loads parked on double yellows in exactly the same way. The sort of guy who has an RS4, and Evo 6 Xtreme, a 205 and other cars, has over 9,000 posts on the MLR and is clearly well known is highly unlikely to arrange having his own car torched. or have financial difficulties. And honestly owning those cars is probably more likely to honestly sell them. He'd get more for the Xtreme sold than a pile of rubble, with the mods on it. Maybe give the guy a break??

I'd imagine they'd try anything to get out of it, citing that if it wasn't parked illegally it would of been damaged etc etc. My initial point was that why would you park your car directly behind your other car on double yellows? inside job? Not sure why you'd destroy a rare Evo VI Xtreme to do that though. Torch the RS4 by all means. If I had those cars I'd park them close to each other too.....

They assume you have SPD's and fancy being stuck to the bike as it hits the kerb / tree / floor!

As you can see there are still people being added, so actual pitch size is yet to be decided. I have been chatting with the organisers since Donny so fingers crossed for a good pitch. But there will have to be enough room for 19 350Z's if everyone pays and gets there on the day, so it won't be a small area. Thanks for everyone's support on these events.

How do you mean bud? Eyewitness saw them trying to nick the Evo, couldn't get it started so torched it. The 205 was parked next to it so caught too, and when it burnt through the handbrake cable it rolled into the RS4. Nasty chain of events...

I tend to go for the 'get a cloth and pull it round while leaving all skin on the back of your hand on the brake disc' approach! same problem for me and especially irritating on the rear disc with its knife edge protecting plate around the disc That is someone's idea of a joke, most knifes aren't supplied that sharp. What about the Meguiars cone wheel brush, that collapses right down? Almost like a pipe cleaner. Works well for me.

Looks like a very good job guys. Not sure about the copying another manufacturer's style personally, but the quality looks to be very good.
