I think from my personal experience of this forum, the age range is expansive. I have seen a lot of younger members buying them now though as the imports especially are coming down into the more affordable range but I would say that insurance premiums would still be crippling for most under 25's.

I'll be up there with a local club. I agree with the shows this year, they have all been a bit chavvy but Trax is always good for a laugh purely because of the sheer size of it and the track action! The convoys there and back are usually pretty good as well!

Cheers Jay, that would be brilliant if you do have one going spare!! Have tried verious breakers, online and locally, but none seem to have any 350's available for breaking at the moment!!

As above, it is called Intellistart from Clifford. I'm surprised what your friend has to do Louis. I had it installed on my previous car and to overide it, all I had to do was insert the key in the ignition then turn it fully once as if I was starting the car. However, I have been to a few places and have enquired about the clutch and nobody I have spoken to so far can see a way around it!

perhaps you could enlighten me on what you are planning to do and I might be able to help you with one that I might have spare I'd prefer to pay stealer priced then tell you as you'll only copy me like you have with the rest of your mods!!!

Danny, as others have said, it is better to pay the money and get a decent kit or you will forever be wincing at the clunking sound as metal grinds on metal!!! i fitted the LSD kit to mine a couple of months ago. The instructions are pretty poor imo but a bit of common sense goes a long way. Sounds like Jay's company will do you proud though!! Let us know how you get on!! Thanks for the comments everyone! It is taking me a while to do it all but would prefer that then rush it and it not be perfect!! The install and all surrounding panels will eventually be covered in black leather with blue stitching to match the new seats. Means I can get away with the finish not being 100% and should keep it still looking pretty classy. Will keep you updated as I go on!!

Bit of a long shot I know but I am after the panels that run down the center of the dash ie: the panel that runs down from the 3 gauges, down past the cubby, round the stereo and down around the gear lever!! Can anyone help?? I'm looking into customing it and possibly painting it and don't want to ruin mine if it doesn't work out properly!! Cheers

Sorry i've been away so long....moving house twice in a month and having an everending battle with BT to get a phoneline and hence broadband can make a man go grey long before his time!! Cobra Seats!! Had a nightmare with these as I got the seats but Cobra don't make a subframe for the 350z yet so off I trundled and imported myself some Bride subframes from the States! Adam @ Z1, you are a true legend!!!! They arrived but the track was wider than the mounting points on the Cobra's but was the closest fit I could get so got a local company to fabricate me some rather tasty conversion rails and after some tinkering, they were all bolted on and ready to go in the car!!! Bride subrframes with the new custom brackets on!! Some rather tasty custom work on the rail!!! All mounted and bolted on! My saviours courtesy of Adam @ Z1! The finished article!! Bit of a crap photo but you get the idea!!! Love the seats and they hold you in so well I can now launch CD's across the car from my holder on the sunvisor when cornering!! Nismo style Carbon Bonnet!! Not many pics for this as it was easy to fit!! Take the old one off and put the new one on, perfect fit and the weave is outstanding!! It's not staying fully carbon though.....but i'll save those pics for another day!!!! I have also started work on the new install!!!! A few WIP pics of the install!! It's kinda ground to a halt at the moment as I am waiting for some new panels from Nissan and they are taking weeks to arrive from as they have had to be ordered from Japan. Work so far.......sorry about the poor quality of pictures but most were on my phone as i'm still waiting for my new camera to turn up!! Boxes in place with supporting metalwork! Seal the sub boxes New subbage!!! 11" Focal K2 Powers! Extra bracket made to support the NOS Hmmmmmmmmm....Nitrous Oxide!!! Install the support bracket for the amp rack. Monoblok baseplate test fit behind subs Main amp rack test fit Drawing out the cut outs for the subs!! Sub surrounds made and installed Making the backing plate for the AudioControl Epicenter and EQS Holes all drilled for cabling Equipment installed and panel trimmed Supports made for the 'floating' Monoblok amp My second Focal sub turns up at last!! Backplate, subs and NOS all test fitted Edge of sub backing plates is routered off to create a nice edge 'Floating' Monoblok installed Side panels constructed and installed for the Focal components Apparantly Genesis amps are too shiny!! The amp rack with the 3 remaining Genesis amps on it. Test fitted in the car Holes drilled ready for wiring up Once the basic construction was complete, I now needed to make it look nice!! Started by fleecing the back section Making shapes!!! Starting the resining!!! Beer, resin, activator, tunes and Mr Potato Head!! Rock on!!! First coat done! It's getting there!! Since then I have just added a load of fibreglass matting to harden it all up. Next stage is to fibreglass the back section of the install where the other amps sit and then crack on with the bootlid and custom doors!!!!

Just caught up with this thread and the sigs are awesome!!! Any chance you can do one for me???
