    D I Y carbon

    Didn't sell then, Paul?
  2. hehe, I can think of a few cars that sound nicer! However, all I care about is not sounding like a ricer. Would the Nismo be inappropriately loud? No. IMO it's far too quiet Unless its on the 296bhp engine that as a deeper howl than the 276bhp version Nah, Dave, you need a 313bhp for a proper deep, meaty tone at high revs - knocks the other two into a cocked hat IMHO! And Chris, you really need to hear a Maser Gran Turismo - followed one the other day and its my new favourite sound. Far nicer than any Ferrari I've ever heard and in a different league to any 350Z.
  3. you haven't seen a Nismo V1 front bumper before? I think he may mean the OP's bumper.
  4. Not often you see Giles's old car on this forum. You'll be kicked off the committee, Mark!
  5. Pink with yellow spots - well you never see Jay and Mr Blobby in the same room, do you?
  6. viewtopic.php?f=37&t=1781 This rather old thread suggests that all JDM's have LSD but I'd be surprised if only the US got non-LSD cars.
  7. Sweeeeet! Makes me wish I wasn't such a tight arse!
  8. Which isn't ridiculous for a car of that performance. But twice that of a 997 Turbo if the Lancer guy is correct....
  9. I had to say chippy as everyone would have thought I was weird saying chipper. I think it's an Aberdonian thing Cara. Come to think of it, I think you're right that it's an Aberdonian thing. We're weird then here..... or should I say special ...needs?
  10. They're an expensive wheel mate, end of.
  11. Lulu is rightly proud and excited about her dad's new car so lets leave this thread for that and not p1ss on her parade, eh? I have split this so there is a separate thread for discussing ownership costs. Looking great BTW, Lulu!
  12. Silver - sounds like the one you saw.

    Name that kit

Jeez, I'm not a fan of the VS nose but those girls make it look like a supermodel!
  14. Nice detailed review, Louis. I disagree on a lot of points but as aesthetics are subjective I won't repeat what I've said elsewhere. However, it sounds like you sat in a different car to me - the quality of trim etc is better than a 350Z, no doubt, but up to the standards of the best competition? No way. I walked out of the showroom after sitting in the 370 and straight into Jacko's TT and the Audi was miles ahead in terms of perceived quality and design. All IMHO, of course, but you can't beat a back to back comparison.
  15. Good to see you're still alive, pal!
  16. Hi and welcome. I had a little look at that one but I thought he was asking a lot for an old car that he had maintained himself - I hope you got a good deal.
  17. And demand has no effect on residual values, eh? But demand has to exceed supply to keep residuals strong, which is why GM and Silver zeds lose more money because there are so many of them. There is a massive demand for orange Gallardo's but because the supply is so short, the residuals will be stronger than on a colour that is ten-a-penny. I rest my case. Next Comparing Gallardos and Zeds is like comparing apples and oranges (if you'll pardon the pun ) and wholly irrelevant. All that matters is the ratio of cars to demand and I've not seen anything yet to convince me that GM and silver Zeds have such an out of kilter balance that there is any significant deficit between them and all of the other colours (not just black and blue) (apart from Sarnie's inherent bias against them, of course). Bored now, going to bed. :bye: Roughly translated into: "Sarnie's right and I don't want to admit it as I've had a silver and GM zed, so I'm going to bed now. Might kick the cat on the way." If it makes you feel better, lad. PS Don't have a cat and if I kicked Kat I really would have a problem!

    Zele 370Z

Best 370 yet by a mile.
  19. According to Middlehursts the brakes are still Brembo but not branded as such.

  21. +1 If I didn't know Alex was far more clued up than me, I'd say he'd lost his marbles.
