  1. Like both but went with the 6 in the end...
  2. LOL Even at that price he'd have to bring it to Liverpool first!
  3. + 20 Yup, the badge ruins the look of what seems to be a sweet install. Surely you don't need reminding what car you're driving?
  4. I've been doing this over the last couple of months and have come up with pretty much the same response. Audi ignored me in the showroom (wearing a suit), when I eventually arranged a test drive they made me wait an hour (well they would have done if I hadn't stormed off down to BMW) and after taking out a manual 7 weeks ago I'm still waiting on the call for my test drive in a DSG... Mercedes were no better - they couldn't even be bothered to take my number to call me back. Jaguar were very good, attentive (some might say desperate), friendly and even a little letter from the manager a couple of days later to thank me for my interest. However, they let themselves down when I sent them an e-mail and didn't get a response for 5 days - I'd bought something else by then. Nissan in Oldham seemed very interested for a while and even called just to tell me that they hadn't forgotten about me and were just waiting for their 370Z demo for me to drive......then promptly forgot about me and I never heard anything more! My local BMW dealers were crap and ignored me too but I went further afield and got great service from Halliwell Jones in Southport, the salesman even driving over to my house on a p1ss wet Friday night at 7pm to give me a test drive. Liked the car, liked the deal and liked the service - sold. Basically, there are too many crap "salesmen" in this country (not just car salesmen) who in good times just waited for sales to come to them and haven't upped their game (or don't know how to) in the current climate. They sit there moaning about how hard it is out there but put no effort in to make sales. They deserve to lose their jobs...
  5. Keep up, I've made no secret of having the 5!
  6. Admin - I waited in all day only to find out that they'd booked it in for the wrong day. They weren't too helpful when they realised either. Do you not work from home That's not the point!
  7. So between the age of 20 and 23 you won the lottery? How the f*ck do you get insurance on a lambo at 23 Not trying to sound harsh, but I think your telling a few fibs. I hope this thread doesn't turn out to be a d**k swinging contest, so to speak - my car is better than your car and all that rubbish. First things first, its Gallardo - something you'd remember 100% if you did manage to have one and secondly your age dude - you're either a lottery winner, a football player or a drug lord (at 23?!). Post some pics and prove me wrong... I had to look up Vert!
  8. No need to be scared, we're all very friendly.

  10. can you say why? Interested to know. It is down to the individual mobile operator so perhaps the area you are may help. There are good and a couple of bad reports from what I've seen +1 - I have used event tyres plenty of times in the past and have found the service to be very good at a price cheaper than anywhere else. Would like to know what the issues you've had are? Hit or miss these guys. Messed me around something rotten.
  11. I bought this off a fellow member back in May but my plans have changed and it looks like I won't actually be fitting it. Apologies to Ian for nicking his pics:- This tells you a bit about the unit and the current new price:- http://www.alphacaraudio.co.uk/ViewProd ... N07E000088 Price includes an extra ipod and bluetooth connector which the previous owner had been using to hook up his ipod/iphone and it apparently works perfectly. Price is £400 not including delivery. I would prefer collection as I wouldn't like it to get damaged in transit. The price is a touch more than previously advertised not because I'm making a profit but because I had to pay a bit extra to get it to me and need to cover my costs. However, it's competitive with the prices they go for on Fleabay. I'll try and answer any questions but bear in mind I haven't actually fitted or used the unit so I may struggle. The previous owner is a member so he may kindly step in and help with any queries.
  12. Can you not check their gtr forum? Im guessing alot of people will upgrade so you could get them cheaper just like rays on here. Wouldn't say alot mind? Maybe in a future yeah but not for a while I would think. +1
  13. im sure it has, and the last one had pictures! IIRC the pictures one was just random pics of your old cars and this was asking for your car history. Subtle distinction but I suppose its there.

  15. I noticed that this is Pistonheads. I really think that the decals would put a lot of people off. I would suggest taking them off and this should sell quickly at that price. Free bump too!
  16. Does that include VAT/import duty? As far as the wheels, yes we can supply them. Sizes are 20x9.5 and 20x10.5. They come in either standard silver, or dark grey. Price is $5760 shipped in silver, with center caps, and $6280 shipped in dark grey, with center caps. Thats the email i got and there's no talk of VAT so i don't think so VAT slipped my mind! I'd certainly presume that you would get caught.
  17. Does that include VAT/import duty?
  18. Have you looked in the for sale section? Generally, people don't wait until there is a wanted thread to offer their car up.
