Correct, I got it wrong. Doesn't exactly sparkle even in sunlight but at least the bumpers and body match
Trust me, it might not photograph well but it does look great in the flesh. Better than GM IMHO.

Its amazing how small it looks compared to a 6 like mine. Strangely, I think it looks better in these real-world shots than all the fancy photos in the mags and Nissan promos.
Looking good - much better than I would have expected.
I have to agree with Nixy on the nuts - plain old black might be better as the 2 reds are very different.
I also agree with andlid that when i looked at the pics the rim edge looks to stand out a long way from the tyre as if they're stretched. Given what you say about sizes I guess its just a trick of the light or simply an effect of having the red rim - oooer missus!

I'm really beginning to wonder why people pay through the nose for Volks. Very pretty of course but the ones with polished lips seem almost impossible to keep looking good and now I hear they won't give you a piant code or any paint....
Don't rely upon an oral assurance to override a written contract. I'm a personal injury lawyer and deal with this stuff every day. Just don't want to see you getting in difficulties.
Careful if the "courtesy car" is actually a credit hire car. You are only entitled to recover the cost from her insurers on a like for like basis and any unrecovered hire charges from the X5 are your personal liability. If in doubt, read the small print.
